i always found it so interesting that the game seems to crash as spectacularly as it does. and from my experience messing around with corrupting snes games, it's not just super mario world. every snes game from my (admittedly small) library crashes in a similar way. makes me wonder why that's the case.

Hey great stuff, love me some corrupted crashes! Just some feedback, personally I think you're letting the corruption state go on for too long (I just sat and skipped 5 seconds over and over again to get to the next crash) and I also think you're showing too little of the stuff leading up to the crash. I would personally love to see more of the lead up hehe

Some of these are creepypasta level crashes. Something like the Bowser Intro playing as though a virus in an emulator was about to activate its payload (bonus points to 9:09 for the glitchy noises in this one sounding like some sort of siren), getting knocked out of the spotlight causing the game to become a mess of sprites, "Illusion lies ahead" after spin jumping on a hothead, and of course all the death crashes. Some of em were goofy: 10:43 "what did i tell you two about fighting in the game's RAM?"

I love watching these. It's so strange that I never have personally experienced a single crash in this game and I used to play it obsessively as a kid. It would have really scared me😂

Fact: You can actually manage to crash the game like that on an actual SNES, and if you do so, expect your game's current save you are to be compromised, since I've read that it can actually corrupt the save data. The game cartridge will still work fine though. Doing it in the Nintendo Switch SNES emulator will sometimes bring the typical "The software has closed because an error ocurred" error.

Some of it is hilarious, the rest is analog horror.
