Nice! Looks great! I had a contractor about 15yrs ago do bookshelves on either side of our formal living room. I did the mantel and surround....probably one of the projects I'm most proud of in the house. If you can over look that the bookcase contractor made one side bigger than the other and room looks off center. LoL!

I made a rough 3d model in CAD to figure out some of the design like wether or not I wanted the shelves divided into 2 or 3 sections. Other than that I just had a scratch piece of paper that I kept some key measurements on

I took me about 15 months but all the progress was over a four weeks. 2 weeks to build the majority of it one winter and then a couple more the next winter to prep for paint, paint and install
