@@AylaTheQueenIdk that is the point. you upload it first so people can see how a build performs in summary version. then if you want more you can watch the LP. best part... if you don't like reading the last page, don't watch the summary video. the point is you can do both or just one.. caters to both types of viewer

@@leelambert1559 the panel on the right of the screen... it includes all the planets, starbases, shipyards, colonized megastructures, fleets, armies, civilian ships, sectors, and probably some other stuff you can add...it helps keep everything under control, but as you get later on in the game it gets a bit overwhelming so a lot of people use the "Tiny Outliner" mod to fit more on the screen and make things more manageable... it's basically just a QoL mod

You need to check what they are using for their ships and customize your stuff to counter that, pretty much what it comes down to.

You probably invested too much into the station or it's platforms. They're not as powerful as the numbers make it look, though to the AI it's very scary and can buy you more time to build. It doesn't help that Militarists and Exterminators do get buffs that increase their power.(+ fire rate is strong). Your empire's purpose is to create alloys for ships and tech to improve the ships. Strongholds are probably a better investment for Fleet Capacity than are Anchorages(Those are alloys you could spend on ships). The AI goes very, very hard on alloys, to an insane extent.(You can check this by using the observe command in the console and watching it play.) It also does not tend to switch away when it should. Thus it falls behind badly in research as time goes on. If you can hold on till you can get better than it, you've won.

@@Bloodlyshiva Interesting, Naval Capacity was a MAJOR problem because even with a matching society researcher those techs just would not come up so i was stuck on like 64 fleet capacity for ages. Would you say a dedicated military world full of fortresses for soldier jobs is worth going for? I didn't wanna invest into something like that before i get all the way up to habitats or ring worlds, but it didn't pan out.

Edicts and policies can help with that too. One of the polices offer a 10% (Maybe, cant remember) boost to fire rate if you are within your borders. What I'd say to do was clamp down on a few choke points (doesnt matter if they're in your border, as long as you have one) and defend them until the last ship. And they should have at least one planet so you can have a FTL inhibitor (which stops ships going to other systems, other than the one they came from). Edicts are also usefull, there are like 5-6 edicts that give a boost ot military ships, but only like 4 do any good in combat. For example one of the edicts give a boost to Armour hit points (no need to upgrade) and another gives a boost ot shield hit points. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is, Alloys for pumping out ships, chokepoints where you can defend to the last man, edicts in case your in need of a short term boost, polices if you want to have a long term boost (but take long to change, so you gotta plan on what you want ot do in the war), and envoys. use the envoys to just forcibly befriend emipires that are close to you and want to stab you. Dont know what Tech to tell you to get, but I dont really have difficulties with that. But from what you said it sounds like you dont spec into tech much. Let me tell you this, TECH IS LIFE. Always have a dedicated tech world.

The wiki lists the weapon preference of each AI type allowing you to design counters if necessary. The stations look stronger than the actually are, and the platforms are only useful if you use them as strike craft bases. Strike craft perform extremely well against corvette and destroyer fleets, so prioritize the carrier tactics engineering tech and put strike craft modules on your stationary defenses.
