When I connect the gimbal to my GH6 the camera asks me for the USB mode, which one do I set or what options do I have, help me, I'm new to using the gimbal.

Man, I wish I could help you but I don't have it now and I don't remember exactly. For me it was USB C on gimbal and USB C on camera, if I remember correctly. But before that I had to set the type of camera system in gimbal menu because Sony have different protocols for connection I believe. But the support for Sony cameras was way better than for Panasonic. At least at the firmware that I had at that time.

What’s your experience been connecting the gimbal to the camera? I’m having an isssue where the camera will punch in for a manual focus assist nearly 100% of the time even with that feature disabled in the camera

@@Exploramix I use all native panasonic lenses and the cables included. The punch in focus happens every time a breeze goes over the focus wheel in manual focus which again is fine but on the GH6 that results in a nearly constantly punched in image making manual totally unusable on that camera with this gimbal.
