That is exactly what my professor did too! He just gave us the assignments and did not give us ANY explanation on how to actually use the program. Even the tutorials in glo-bus are not all that helpful I definitely learned more with this video.

I actually do work for a company that has a perfect attendance bonus for hourly employees. It also increases each year in a row you keep perfect attendance.
My daughter is a teacher and she gets a bonus if she only takes off during the non school day days. For example if the students are not there. (teacher work day etc) This prevents them from having to pay for subs .
The thing about the attendance bonus that's weird is that not only does an attendance bonus seem strange from an employer standpoint (rewarding expected behavior) but its a little weird from an employee standard too. Like you're telling me I'm losing out on budgeted funds because I got sick once? Or because my family member died? Or because I got a flat tire? Like, life happens and that's what PTO is for. I shouldn't be punished (by not receiving a bonus) for NOT using PTO (which is a part of my compensation package). I've never worked somewhere with an attendance bonus before but its a slippery slope to hostile work environment/ retaliation/etc
