Thank you for covering a Brazilian fragrance house! It's great to learn about brands outside of the ones we already love and are familiar with. O Boticario is another Brazilian brand that makes fragrances.

Granado is my absolute favorite Brazilian perfume house. Epoque Tropical is not supposed to be nutty. It’s supposed to be fruity. The smell of the cashew fruit (not of its nut) is there at the opening. It takes me to my favorite juice in Brazil, which is the cashew fruit juice. Epoque happens to be one of my favorite perfumes of Granado along with Carioca and Boemia.

Hi! Thanks for letting me know. I have only tried dried cashew nuts from grocery store. Good to know that it’s fruity. ☺️ Boemia is great! I have tried Carioca in store and it’s really nice as well. Thanks for sharing your favorites ✨

@@jmercadobeauty There is the fruit, which we eat and/or make juice of and the nut (which) is a brownish/blackish c-shaped head on the upper part of the cashew fruit. I like both parts: the meat of the cashew and the nut of the cashew. Very different in taste and smell, though.

Hi Joanna! I've been waiting for this review, thank you for the lengthy compilation. I've been enjoying my 2 Granado fragrances, Bossa and Tonka. I really like the way this house does coconut....not too sunscreeny, natural too. I'm always happy to see affordable niche fragrances. Plus, here in Europe , shipping is free. I have a sample of Flora Magnifica. Gorgeous, and I am generally not a big floral fragrance kind of gal. That might just be my next purchase.....BUT Folia just sounds so interesting with nutmeg, tangerine and licorice. 🤔

I’m glad you enjoyed! I love how perfumes take me back to my favorite destinations as well. That’s the main reason why I got so hooked with fragrances I think. I don’t travel as much as before. Granado definitely embodies Rio de Janeiro. I hope you find your scent. Thank you for watching 💞

Fantastic house overview, Joanna! I love Gypsy Water so Expediçao is on my must-buy list, along with Bossa. Thanks for sharing this fab discovery! Regarding other brands I'd love to see: Pernoire, Botanicae, Astrophil & Stella, Essential Parfums, Maison Matine... so many, I know, but only if they pique your interest. Great idea to do a brand per month!

Hello! Local brands with natural ingredients always catch my attention. Granado has interesting scents at very good point. I have only one perfume from Laboratorio Olfativo and I find it great 😊 Let me see if I can find discovery kit. Thanks for watching! ✨
