I would never understand why in these comments all you ever see is “his cakes are just fondant and rice krispie treats ”. Is it not obvious that buttercream or frosting cannot be manipulated to create the illusions some of these customers want? Is it not obvious that cake does not have the same structural capacity as rice krispies? You expect Buddy to do a cake thats 100% cake and frosting to get the same result? It’s practically impossible. Not to mention that that’s tons of pounds in cake. NOT TO MENTION THE COST OF A CAKE LIKE THIS THATS 100% CAKE. At this point I just think you guys do this “1% cake, 99% fondant and rice krispie treats” for likes. Customers go to Buddy and will continue to go to Buddy because they actually want what he is creating. I’m sure if the customer told Buddy they wanted a cake without rice krispie treats or fondant he would make it and he would make it damn well too. T here customers know exactly what they’re signing up for when they contact him to make the cake. When any of y’all can make a cake like these Buddy does with 100% cake and frosting, then you can have something to say.
