Hehe, I've had that happen while crouching behind like a concrete barricade and in a bush. Scared me lol. Also, not too long ago, heard the Mech charging up his rail gun thingy and thought he was aiming at squad mate and yelled "Watch out!" Then got evaporated through a small window from behind me. "Oh." 😐

Yes. That would be cool or you can activate the guns in the AB to kill everything except you that comes in after you ;]

It does. Aldo backpacks protect you if you're getting Hut from behind. But you need to keep an eye on your stuff, since it wears pretty quickly from puppet hits.

Every piece of gear offers "some" protection to your character. For example, a motorcycle mask protects your face, although not very much and it's almost superficial. However, you will notice a very subtle difference when hit in the exact spot and the damage dealt to the equipment itself. Does this mean a jacket could save you from death if you're wearing it rather than not. Ehhh, idk. I've survived headshots and other crazy stuff but I think maybe it just influences possible tiny chance to be at 1% or dead (5% or 10%, critical hit or not. Also can't confirm). The big thing is stab proof vs bulletproof vs tactical armor. I could be wrong about tactical but I think tactical is best at both melee and ranged defense, stab proof better than bullet proof at melee (puppets) and bullet proof better than stab proof at ranged (bullet arrow). I almost never use tactical and opt for stab proof when doing PvE due to weight but both have absorbed most bullet types for me, but a stab proof not nearly as effectively. Thing is, tactical armor isn't as cheap as stab proof and I don't generally take my best stuff out to do PvE and always save a full "kit" every once in awhile and basically start over with another poop kit until I okay it for being bunker ready or pvp ready. That way if I do die I have better stuff to use for retrieval, defending, atacking or doing something else. Basically give myself options

True but you cant move them when they are too heavy and you cant lock pick them in Safe Zone so its still an exploit
