W/m2 is the amount of sunlight hitting the earths surface. (Watts per square meter) The fluctuations during the day simply reflect cloud cover.

I've done a lot of farming. Fertilizer speeds up the maturation process, it's not necessary though. If you see dark spots on leaves and "RUST" under condition you need to use fungicide. If you see "Aphids" under condition you use pesticide. Also, if you are just trying to level farming just let weeds grow and weed, but leave a few spot to regrow and they will grow quickly again and rinse and repeat. Also destroy your flag, rebuild so not overlapping first plot and make a second, then destroy the flag and rebuild so it covers both plots. I have 10 plots on official at the moment, 3 i use to weed for leveling. Also it rains enough on official watering plants aren't necessary.

Brocoli is super durable. Just plant without maintenance, no fertilize, no weed remowing,…. (B3 sector)

Seems like you should have a better chance to find food if you take the time to grow plants. Please ask the Devs to look at the loot system for food., its not fun to check every corn/potato plant in the field and find nothing when you are starving.

If online then ask server admin. If it's single player that's cap 🧢 but also change your settings kiddo. Many tutorials for getting a bit extra out of search or things found on ground like rocks, plants, wood, and such

About the food I agree but I think some vegetables should only be obtained by farming and some at the NPC trader or open world but not all vegetables. Why? To keep farming alive with a sense to to not only the skill to lvl up, but also a meaning why you should farm a bit. Devs should stop making this game tooooo easy and casual focused.

@@sultonmadhy5626 there is for natural plants? is there not for grown crops? corn for example, you can see the cobs on the plant so you know which is grown? maybe its not like that for grown crops

Awesome video! I found that the watering can works awesome to spill and just walk around the garden with it, using it almost like a sprinkler. Also, plants seem to grow just fine using ocean water, as well. Pretty neat.

You are right it helps with watering the plants but they dont level up farming for some reason. Glad you found it helpful.

If you can just spill bottles like that without actually activating the crop, wouldnt the use of the watercan be that you can do the same thing and just walk over your crops? That imo seems better actually. I too noticed it was 100l being poured but it only does it in the one spot if you activate that specific plot. If you just "spill" it while walking over the crops it should work right? Edit, can confirm it works this way and is great.

Thanks for the video. I started a small garden. I want to like this game but everything is so tedious, or broken. I can't refill a watering can at a river. It says I can, it makes the sound, but the can is always 0/20. So I wound up just spawning in a watering can for each seed patch. Why have farming and then make it annoying to do? Either simplify it or don't have it at all, imo. 😢

I did pretty much the same thing but the well dries up very quickly, even 2. If you would plant 20 seeds, it wouldnt be nearly enough. I collected large gas cans to bring water, and eventually made multiple rain collectors. All plants took only one fertilising. Not sure if its worth the hassle though, didnt get much food from it. My trees dried up after a few days, probably screwed up something. Maybe 1.5 liters of water from canteens wont cut it. By the way, the gasoline canisters only hold 20 liters of water, although it says 40 units.

Yea using the Gas Canister to fill the 2L bottles will work.

Found this out today! Check your temperature in the area, some crops only grow in certain climates. Just started my own server after a horrible experience on one with friends, and I'm finding so much out just trying to set up the settings.

what level of farming was this character?, when i look at a plant im not getting the same information oh, and when it comes to watering, home made bucket full of water, and a can or small bottle to refill from the bucket works nicely too

Was on Medium farming but if I press tab when im close to it or use focus mode when im close to it I still get the options with no farming skill. Yea good idea.

I know I’m late to this. But I do not see the green box when I plant. I guessed a lot on my plants it works. But to search/loot the plant again I’m unsure on. I just don’t see a green box around my plant to know when it needs

Great video! Imo some vegetables should only be obtained by farming (not all) and why? Because farming should have still a meaning in this game especially now where we are able to cook. Just my opinion because I have a feeling everything is getting too easy hardcore Server or not.

Keep playing around. Going in single player using God Mode helps a lot with learning quicker if you dont have a test server

When you place the blueprint click the F Key once for starting position then walk with the blueprint in a direction to make it bigger then press F key again to finalize.

We shouldn’t even start to feel chilly until 35 degrees Fahrenheit, especially with all the clothes on. I live in Wisconsin and at 30 degrees we still have people wearing shorts.

Its the biggest plot you can craft. When you first place the blue print walk back and side ways to make it bigger and press F again

Interesting the industrial plant food works better then organic I love the devs or was a joke LOL I enjoy RL garden and can say it is the truth to a degrees I mean organic does work but the amounts is well not great but that may by chance not sure ? growing is Radom chaos But I well say 100% without Chems to fight insects and disease all the hard work is wasted ! I have tried homemade organic Chems garlic pepper spray with soap all the u tube stuff it never worked !
