VERY important note to add: Most guys new to the LVP/ wood maintenance scene will commonly misidentify an Engineered/ laminate floor for an LVP floor. If you do make that mistake (which its common) you can ruin the floor with too much water (especially if gaps or signs of water damage are already present). Some states will have vent registers in the floor to be able to ID the floor by looking at the boards side profile... others like California will not have those... therefore you cannot 100% ID a floor with out seeing a spare board or the side of one. Also most luxury vinyl floors now days have sound dampening backing which are commonly made of rubber, foam, or cork...ALL 3 can swell if moisture reaches it. REMEMBER when it comes to "wood looking" floors LESS IS BEST when it comes to moisture.

Hi, I own a carpet cleaning business in CA. We also clean tile and grout too If I use my HRB machine instead of the rotary black you guys have, is that ok or have to that black one in specific? Another question 800psi with extraction tool, is not too much water and power? Won’t damage the floor? I am scared to use too much water and damage the floor.

This New "product" they are selling to (Recoat) lvp flooring is complete bs. #1 you really want to keep the flooring at it's natural state #2 lvp flooring is meant to be a LOW maintenance flooring, with that being said anytime you put a wax or any type of acrylic based finish on a floor it immediately becomes a high maintenance floor which will require a service at minimum every month #3 basic cleaning for any lvp floor should always be a dust mop of lightly dampened mop with a neutral ph floor cleaner. Most floor cleaners will not tell you this because they only want the repeat business, and this particular company is clearly just out to make more money off of you on a monthly basis
