You say Ubisoft is willing to tone down traps and make them more interactive. But then there's Fenrir who has even a list of his traps with location and real time status indicators, can operate them from any point on the map, can be placed anywhere, are throwable, need explosives to be destroyed when deactivated, and literally prevent the attackers from seing anything beyond 3m around. And partially block sound. And make sound when activated. If that is a balanced, teamwork based trap operator...

Tbh, I don't see how simply obstructing the vision is a sign of fear this operator is all about. I think the teammates silhouettes should disappear making them seem like enemies too. Kinda what would happen with the og fear toxin. And that would make the fear being shown this way plausible, because the operator becomes somewhat paranoid and afraid of everything that moves.

I can't remember the last time I got into a frost mat. Those are the easiest traps to spot and counter and yet people were still complaining about them. If you get caught in a frost mat is only your fault cause you didn't prefire the floor or droned. The only frost mats that actually work are those on stairs and behind corners, but if you don't have a player in that area, then you lose all the value. You also can't use trapped enemies as bait to make a double kill, even more value lost. Might as well bring another trap operator to do the job.

Also, 2:57. This whole "toning down traps" bullshit. Isn't one of the biggest complaints about siege right now is it being a gun fight meta? Why the fuck would you enable them to get back into pure gunfighting when they were stupid enough to get hit in the first place.

i think that the finka boost should not be able to fix the broken leg, and i hope that when you're ADS after self reviving from a frost mat that you also have bad aim

@@glrbarak1465 tbh, broken leg should stay for rest of match (not blood trail), but Finka boost is like an adrenaline rush, so you temporarily regain the ability to sprint.

if they are going to make frost mats weaker make them indestructible with bullets requiring explosives like ash's or zofia's or gonne 6, or at least make it a 10 bullets to destroy one, cant just repel and destroy it as a second thought

I feel like 4-5 seconds to get out of the trap would be fine. Because right now it's faster to get out of the trap then getting up from Rook armor and Tbird heals. Anything more then 5 seconds is a lot imo. Time is of the essence especially if you're on Attack. So the change I would do is add more time to the trap, get rid of the head bobble and make it 20 seconds instead of 25 for the trap penalty. Also as for Traps they're needed especially in this Swing/Gun/TDM Meta. People peek and throw bodies first instead of Droning or using Cam's. One more thing I play a lot of Thorn with a Frost on the board because it's a free kill. It's like how I played with Lesion and Frost before his nerf to his Gu mine. So with this update Thorn is definitely going to be a must pick when you see a Frost is picked.

As long as an attacker still has a gun, theyre a threat. I liked old Frost because she eliminated a gun from the game. I find this rework absolutely bullshit but that’s just me

they should add a delay to the revive like 5-8 seconds before you can get out. its a bear trap that pain would be immense. a bit of peter griffins holding his knee before you get out.

Okay, honestly good take... didn't often think about sitting by the mat to capitalize on them looking down, I've always been just close enough to secure the kill instead of swinging... but I have a question, what happens if a different attacker picks them up? do they get the debuff? do they get more health?

9 months later and frost is one of the worst ops in the game because of this. All of the other trap ops out preform her and her mats are useless because they are massive and everyone pre fires the floor when they know a frost is on the enemy team.

What a great idea! Let's rework and change how some other operators fundamentally work as well. Let's "rework" sledge, take his breaching hammer away because one hitting a soft wall is just no fun for the defenders and let's give him a little plastic toy hammer so he can knock on walls and create sounds to confuse enemies. That way he is more interesting and engaging to play against right?

That would really add more "depth"(not a nerf) to sledges hammer, but I wonder why you didn't mention the new update where buck's shotgun deals damage back to him, you know to prevent fast gun fights and all.@@amagostartdatbigfirekickba9865
