I swear you and Lanny make the best content for premodern, amazing commentary and very tight gameplay. Thank you so much for all you do for the community
@@WatchThatFast He talked about this multiple times. It was his very first ever event and he just played very sloppily. You are missing out by not watching him, and he is a treasure to the Premodern community.
@@fpawluszmtg I find both versions to be almost equally good, each one with its upsides as you said. Want to be more proactive: go UW. Want a better manabase and gush shenanigans, go Mono U. Different playstyle, similar ceiling for both decks
Please, what do you think about daze + foil on a monoblue on premodern instead of counterspell + foil? I am thinking of using this on a Opposition + Static orb deck on premodern.
I'm looking to build 2 pre-modern decks to play against each other, one being this archetype. What do you think is a classic match up for UW Stiflenought?
Stiflenought vs Goblins is very interesting, and so is the matchup against decks like MUD, Terrageddon and things like that. Sequencing, finding your spot, threat assessment are all things that come into play and matter a ton
I personally think so. If you look at the matches I lost, had I been playing Mono U I'd have lost them all just the same, if not even worse. And the match against Devourer was won on the back of Meddling Mage and Disenchant.
I think they were playing around Stifle, and they overvalued getting a trigger to put Siege Gang in play. I think they kind of outplayed themselves a little by doing so and gave me a window they didn't need to.
