I'd like to see an office / outside shed build done by your randomly picked subscribers, who have no experience or confidence in this sort of DIY and just you manage them on a build. Maybe remotely manage them, via video calls, as they build the project in their own garden. Then post it as a series of videos, to show that absolutely anyone, with your plans, can build an office / outside shed ?
Really enjoying your series and work even as a old joiner. One thing I would say however is when plumbing or levelling frame legs in wined you should really use same level or method both side with the level same way around on both sides too. So as to allow for level being slightly out. Pleas don’t think I’m detracting from your great work or methods I would gladly buy one of your packs and follow it any day.
Wow , what a great video Epic! Just starting building a timber framed garage so so many great tips from a guy who knows what he’s doing . Many thanks for all the videos, so helpful.
Building a 5x4m garden room and looking at 2 x (500mm x 1950mm) on either side and a French door in the middle (1800mm x 1950mm). Is a steel beam required above the door? Thanks
The original and still the best, Liam, John and Davey you're all stars and you've helped countless people build their confidence in making their own garden rooms. I wish you well in the future and hope this new series will bring you many more orders for your build packs. All my best as ever
Fantastic info guys, very much appreciate this video as was keen on seeing the French doors fitted. They went in very smooth indeed. Planning on getting mine with blinds so assume it will be a little more tricky with beads and gaskets.
@@thegardenroomguru Thanks Liam, also my windows will be going in front so additional support needed there due to the weight like the doors. I’m more inclined to use steel beam for doors like you did with this build even though you said not really needed.
