Hey! Thanks for watching this video :) - As always, let me know what you think of the build and what weapon is your favourite Intelligence based weapon in Elden Ring! Also, I forgot to mention it in the video, but we have also started streaming on the channel - Streams take place every Tuesday & Thursday at 9:30am (UK Time) so if you want to join our next stream and help us create a really OP DLC build, feel free to do so when we continue next week :) Anyways, I hope you're all doing well and have fun with this super cool build!
For me nothing beats dark moon greatsword paired with great blade phalanx and rannis dark moon. I’ll use terra magic every once in a while but I don’t mess around with any seals or Incantations. I feel like those extra buffs are overkill and I’d rather put those extra points into endurance or mind.
One spell I absolutely adore is meteorite with any large boss, it does a ridiculous amount of damage. Another thing that I used in my current playthrough for the early game was Sword of St. Trina for the sleep, good vs two bosses put one to sleep and then kill the other.
I feel like if you wanna cast spells more often, levelling dex to 40 and using the radagon icon would be a good idea, as you essentially max out your casting speed that way. And the 40 dex is insanely good if you use Moonveil as well.
Despite what you'd think from the descriptions, the Radagon icon barely has any effect on spell casting speed. Even the new upgraded version in the DLC barely changes it. It's a total waste of an amulet slot that could go toward improving your damage output several times more.
@@nunyabz9494 Dexterity is what governs casting speed, among other things. Equipment that says it increases casting speed doesn't increase it by a set percentage, but grants virtual dexterity. Virtual dexterity adds to your dexterity, but only applies to casting speed. This also means that items that grant virtual dexterity (ie 'casting speed') don't grant increases beyond the casting speed cap, which is 70 dexterity. At 70 dex your casts are about 17.5% faster. That's a gain of only a few hundred milliseconds for spells with long startup animations, and almost negligible for spells with short startup animations. The Radagon Icon grants 30 virtual dexterity, or about 7.5% faster casting speed. Some other talismans you can use are: - Magic scorpion charm, which increases magic damage by 12% - Graven-mass talisman, which increases sorcery damage by 8% - Ritual sword talisman, which increases attack power by 10% at max health -Green or two-headed turtle talismans, which increase stamina regen by 17.7% and 22.5% respectively Or other ones that may have better effects than a 7.5% casting speed increase, and which can actually stack with each other. Also, running or jumping animations for some spells don't even get increases from casting speed. So that makes the benefits even more situational for some builds.
Thanx for the video ! I prefer using the Royal Carian Scepter while Lusat uses +50% more FP . I use the same buffs + Flames give me strength . I m mostly using Wing of Astel/ Bastard of Stars but when I m in shape I also like using Misericorde + Glint blade Phallanx to stagger the ennemies .
Thank you! - just wanted to point out, be careful with bastards stars if you do run it - I’m pretty sure the nebula attack with it is still bugged and only 1 or 2 explosions actually cause damage, whereas all the explosions with wing of astel’s nebula can deal damage :)
I mostly use RC Scepter + Night Comet to soften the ennemies from distance, then go 100% melee . I have noticed that Commander Niel got very confused if you use both melee+range attacks 😉
Pretty sure Flame grant me strength and Howl of Shabriri do not stack with each other, so only use one of them. Shabriri gives a higher increase, but also makes you take more dmg

A thing I dislike about some equipment is that the magic scorpion charm I was crazy trying to find it around but realized sulevis was the one to give it to ya and I didn't knew that once he's dead you can't get that ever
Thank you for this video! I picked up Elden Ring around the time it came out and STILL haven't beaten it XDDD I chose the Astrologer, and I feel this build can help me get through the game a bit easier (this is my first Souls game)
This looks great but I'm a noob looking to build from the start and this was all over my head lol. Would love to see an "initial starting build" to get to this point. Any tips on starting class and weapons? I know you said you started with Wretch so I'll start there.
If it’s your first time playing, I advise you start with the astrologer class as that’ll have spells off the bat - it can be really strong, just farm some runes and get yourself through the first half of the base game and you’ll have access to a load of staves/spells :)
It's not for everyone, but I personally love a good intelligence build - I of course would suggest using this as you can literally use any Int weapon/spell in the game and they'll all do ridiculous damage :)
@@incognitoa4506 Do you mean all the weapons I mentioned in the video? - If so, yeah, any weapon that essentially uses INT as a requirement will scale with INT stat -Most of those weapons also use a magic based ash of war that purely scales with INT too :)
Very good all round build guide, one thing I want to point out, why not just put the 33 faith down to 23 and raise intelligence to 70. That way traveling you’ll have better int scaling, and when you need to buff for bosses, just use the faith-knot tear
So I’m now on the dlc hype so I’m gonna do another play through with the confessor, it will be a faith/strength build but I’m unsure of a start, middle, and end game weapons
There's a couple of straight strength weapons you can pick up early - You can grab iron fists from the boilprawn merchant (i forget his name) after killing him in lurnia of the lakes, lordsworn greatsword too, as for faith weapons, I can't think of any in the early game which are super good - Sacred blade ash of war is typically used on a dagger etc
I personally wouldn’t say so, all you need are the stats, talismans and wonder physick combo - all of which are shown on screen for a good amount of time (and you can pause if needed) and I discussed all sorts of options telling you all to chop and change the build to suit you. It wasn’t meant to be a direct copy of a certain weapon/spell set because you can use all of them in the game - so the choice is yours
@@sap509 maybe something like radagons icon to help with casting speeds or if you really want, you can run graven-school talisman and graven-mass talisman at the same time :)
For runes, look up the white-faced varre questline. It's easy. At the end he gives you a metal of some kind. It takes you to a place called Mohgwyn's Palace. There off in the woods to the right run fast avoid everything and hug the left wall up a ramp like path past more enemies. At the top is a sight of grace get there ASAP. Then rest there. If you notice off the cliff on the landing, there is a big bird. Get a bow and some standard arrows. Fire at it then it will jump off the cliff and you get rich. Rince and repeat.
Can someone please create a list of everything to get? I have moonveil at the moment but none of the others. I'm new to the game and can't remember everything. What's the most optimal build to go with moonveil? Awesome vid btw
Hey! There’s quite a lot to get if you mean making a list of all spells/int weapons in the game, best thing to do is complete all raya lucaria quests, like Sellen’s questline, Thops and Ranni’s quest to get the majority of OP Int weapons/spells. Also, if you’re looking for a more in-depth build specifically for moonveil, I have that on the channel too :)
@@tkcjazza I meant more the most optimal spells for this build. Yopu give a few options but do you have a select few you'd recommend, and then some in between for mid game?
For my Moonveil, I went into 40 dex and 80 int. I have the Carian Royal Scepter, as well as an infused Uchigatana in the left hand, depending whether I wanna go melee or cast sorceries. Talismans should be roughly the ones in the video, though Radagon icon is also very good if you are casting spells. Personally, I did not use incants, as I feel its a bit of an overkill to buff yourself, so just put the stats into dex and int
Basically everything in this build got nerfed a week ago - better off using the DGMS as a physical weapon now as they changed the values of the stance damage to be better with the actual weapon rather than the ranged attack :)
depends on what kinda skill level you're at too - Like if you're ok dodging/surviving boss fights, pump more into INT first to deal more damage, but if you want more health to survive a lot easier, put more into Vigor/Mind first to be able to cast more spells and outlive bosses :)
I like to get damage stats to the minimum to be able to use the items I want (ex meteorite staff), then just focus completely on vigor until it’s around 25 and mind until it’s around 20, and then pump intelligence until 40s-50s, then go back to vigor until 40, mind until 30, and then back to intelligence
I have not played at all yet, so would this be something I can work towards from beginning or do you have a video better suited for early game? i like the sound of mage so far
I don’t overly have a proper guide but the closest thing to it would be this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-31QKlmIh5vI.htmlsi=--ZQm0EQS2FnCXJb Shows you how to get an op mage set-up in just an hour. Realistically you can use that video as a base and then work towards the stats in this “ultimate mage” vid when you get to level 150 :)
Honestly? Feel more and more that staying at Lvl 150 just isnt for me. I need my vigor at 60, my mind at 40 and my endurance at least at 30. Then for int i allways go full 80 in int. Last i stick to min req for weapons. Beeing Deathspoker, moonveil and DMGS.
You don’t have to stay at level 150, this is just a guide for that level as it’s “more than enough” for majority of players - just improve the stats that you need to enjoy the build more :)
Yeah, but if you add more mind, you're also taking out points elsewhere that are needed - Having 3/4 curelean flasks is a good replacement for the extra damage you need in the later NG+'s, plus with most weapons Ash of War you'll get 5 or 6 uses before you need to refill FP :)
The point of the video was explaining you can use any INT weapon/Spell - all you need is talismans, stats and buffs I showed then it’s up to you what you want to run as weapons/spells - I was using what I did in the gameplay to show that everything is still OP even if this build isn’t optimising one specific weapon
Great video and build. I take it i am bit screwed getting the Magic Scorpion Charm as Seluvis is already dead. Do i have to wait to new game + or is there a way to get it before?
Because I cba switching everything in/out for every fight 😂 - this build is basically plug and play and does more than enough damage to rinse the game :)
Great vid eveything was explained nicely, thing is i dont know how to spell the names of the spells you show on the screen you show the stat but you dont show the name you just say the name
incantations used are: Howl of shabriri and golden vow. Sorceries shown in this video are: Terra Magica, Comet Azur, Stars of Ruin, Cannon of Haima, and Greatblade phalanx
Google翻訳者:日本語から英語へ Hello! ! I need some advice. I'm using the Reduvial Dagger as my primary weapon, but I'd like to use a staff as a secondary or LH, but for now my stats are Lv193 Vigor 35, Mind 28, Endurance 21, Dexterity 60,Arcane 91. Do you recommend starting to put points into intelligence or no?Thank you And great video.
Yeah, you can always “re-spec” using rennala at the raya lucaria academy - I wouldn’t put more than 80 points into intelligence as the game soft caps around 80 points in most stats (meaning that you get very little improvement in damage from levels 80+) or if you want to keep the reduvia - drop arcane to 70/80 and start putting points into intelligence :)
@@tkcjazza Google翻訳者:日本語から英語へ Thank you for your advice. i didn't know about the gap, it helps alot when i did the re-spec thing you told me thank you again
Yeah very good video overall had a blast watching but i'd mention that u have very low mind wich is not great for a mage build and 33 point in fate when u can equip the jellyfish shield off hand and save those extra points and still have a decent dmg boost
Could you send a list of the weapons and seals and spells? English is not my first language and its hard to spell out the items from the traductions. You put the images but not the names of some stuff
Shard of alexander,Graven mass talisman, ritual sword talisman, magic scorpion charm, and the best weapon for this build in my opinion is the Darkmoon greatsword, put most stats in intelligence, hope this helped.
Thank you - yeah I used to just use screenshots in the vids but thought I would up the graphics and make my own for the talismans etc to stand out from everyone else using the same screenshots - they’re all still there though and I do name everything you need :)
Im lvl 400+ and i obviously still dont understand the game i am strength/int more intelligence than strength but i like the greatswords and i only do about half the amount of damage than in the video and ive always felt my build is a little weak i dont have as many damage buffing talismans that could be why i also could just be bad at the game or dumb but if anyone has felt a similar way and has found out whats wrong i would be greatfull for some help 😁
Yeah, if you’re not running any/same buffs, that’ll be the main reason you’re dealing as much damage. That and obs making sure weapons are max level etc - just need to make sure you have the right talismans for the weapons you’re using too :)
i have a question, when i copy builds that are in guides and copy exactly the stats and everything i don’t do the same dmg that are shown in the video even in the same boss. i’m not even in NG+ ( i’m just curious i don’t mean to be rude or anything if you guys take it as offensive )
I haven’t played elden ring since I beat it like 1-2 years ago, can someone explain why everyone makes “lvl 150” builds can you only beat the game at lvl 150 or above?
Basically, PvP works based on level, so you’ll only be invaded/invading people of a similar level - Rune Level 150 is also enough to optimise builds for pretty much any weapon in the game to make them capable of flying through NG+7 onwards (the hardest variation of the game with bosses having the highest defence, health, attack etc) So level 150 builds are “all you need” but of course you can go higher if you want to do even more damage :)
Just to add, it also helps for co-op. You can summon or PVP with anyone that is +/- 20 levels of you. So, if you are 150, you could get someone that is 170 or 130. Most players stick around here because it increases the opportunity from that perspective. If you lvl to 300 you'll have way less players that you could potentially connect with. If none of that matters to you, go ham on the levels.
3:09 Well you need 18 dex to use Moonveil anyway, and it's always nice to be able to use this fantastic weapon. I've been RL 150 for a long time, was a lot of fun even at NG+7 but I decided to push it to RL 175, you can still be summoned to help lvls 150. My stats for your build are: 50 vig 23 mind 24 end 16 str 18 dex 80 int 33 faith 10 arc Having a ton of fun with it, thx, your builds are always great!
Yeah, you're right... that was a happy accident then lol - I thought 17 was the min needed to cover that and wing of astel - I must of told myself the Wing of Astel's 17 dex was the highest value of all Int weapons I used, which isn't true! Also, thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos/builds and your RL 175 build is perfect!
Just watched your welcome video from 2 years ago found it funny when you said you don’t want to stick to one game. Then you go on to only posting elden ring 😂 what happened
@@tkcjazza maybe a few months after the dlc you try switch it up with new games to keep the Chanel growing because your videos are actually real good and I feel like you could cover other games just as good
@@tkcjazza no lie I was look at how to use the system because I usually play eso but instead of getting gold road I’ll get Elden ring with dlc I never played a dark souls game I guess this would be first time.
I said this in the vid but you can use any spell in the game, it doesn’t matter - most op spells can be got through seller’s quest and throughout the lake of lurnia in the academy & from various merchants/cave bosses :)
Nice video , but to be honest there was way too much going on. I couldn’t really follow everything you said. Try maybe talking less en actually showing how to copy this great build more.
All you need for the build are the stats, talismans & wonder physick, which I showed in the video for some time and can be paused etc if needed. The point of the video/build was telling you that you have every INT weapon available and every spell - I didn’t give an exact main weapon or spell set because it’s up to you - do you like dark moon greatsword? Sweet, use that - do you like gravity spells? Cool, use them instead! Once you have the stats/boosts ready to use, you’re good to go with literally anything :)
@@tkcjazza why are you responding to everyone like a jackass? people are here to make the build you are showing them and a lot are saying its hard to follow. take some criticism and improve
@@97matt97 I'm not responding like a Jackass - They said it's hard to follow and that I need to show how to copy the build more - I simply re-iterated that the only things they need to know are the stats, talismans and wonder physick, which are on the screen for a good minute or so of the entire video - It is also clear that they didn't quite get the angle I was going for with this video, as it was a discussion about what you CAN use as appose to telling you WHAT to use. I guess next time I won't bother commenting because apparently helping people understand is being a Jackass :)
might be harder for eventually you'll be able to play legit any build the higher levels you go [i.e 200+ etc] the starting class is typically just for ng to give you the best stats/gear to get your through the game however apparently that also changes if you want to do pvp, but someone else is gonna have to chime in for that as I don't do pvp .
You say that as if I didn’t show every single item individually on screen when I talked about them… - next time I think of making a vid I’ll just post a screenshot on Reddit I guess
@@DemoSpar I literally show them like 1 minute into the vid… so… no patience? No understanding I’m explaining everything for new players? That’s fine, see you later 👋👋
Yes, I didn’t say anything so I hope you don’t end up using the stats, talismans, weapons, wonder physick combo, buffs or various spells I took FOREVER to talk about (because I said nothing remember) I talked about ALL options for INT builds, I didn’t give a specific weapon/spell list because the stats let you use everything (which I mention)
