Same. I played a custom match with some friends and went against a xerath, and somehow ended up fed ( he plays top lane) and I somehow made him consider permaban her ( he is an top mord since rework)

Daniyal Munawar could be worse, I played katarina since beta, came back to the game, spent a lot on almost all of her skins (waited years for kitty kat to come back) then she got reworked and I hated it.

1:27 I fully disagree with that one to be honest as an Irelia one trick Challenger. Irelia with a fully stacked passive at level one is a deadly combo. Yes you need to be cautious about their minion wave but the first wave you constantly have to dash to last hit 5 out of 6 minions ( or even 4 but will get to why you should use Q on 5 ): 1. after last hitting 4 minions using your Q you will immediately dash to the enemy champ to get one conqueror proc and the last Passive stack = huge attack speed to fully stack conqueror while you have the ms boost from Corrupting Potion ( the keystone of the Elixir movement speed bonus ) so you can catch up to them. That leaves them half hp or even lower to set up for level 2: 2. Immediately look for a low hp minion to dash on 2 so when u hit level 2 during the kill on that minion, immediately level up [ E ] Flawless Duet to stun and mark that low hp enemy giving a free dash and possibly killing them if you have ignite. I always play that strategy and it always results in a snowball ( unless their jungler ganks you lmao :V )

Another point I would like to mention: Predict the maximum ult range when it hit the first champ (usually enemy team tank who has lots of cc). You may spread you ult to their carry with the til of your ult

I'm really thankful for this video. I play Mid/Top and I love those "flashy" champs like Akali/Irelia/Sylas but Irelia is easy my favorite. Sadly I'm just Bronze and most of my games I end up like 2/5 or 4/7 or something. I feel like I miss a lot of E's and Q(-Reset)'s because I want to do them as fast as possible. It feels like I'm panicking sometimes when I try to do plays like Caps at 4:50 or in big teamfights when I try to go for their carries. Anyone got tips for that? Also what about Runes and Items? Tiamat Rush or rather Triforce and which parts do you build first? When do you go PTA instead of Conq.? Always Inspiration or what do you think about Nullifying Orb/Trancendence + CDR like TF did a lot lately?
I just go for conquerer every game, as top its just better as a mid irelia u can take press the attack to burst squishie enemys but i still think conq is better
If I want to learn a champ and see masteries and items to build I just watch what better players do. It doesn't even have to be to players like Caps. And about panicking, I think that one just have to try to play calmly but with a lot of focus ofcourse. Do what you think you should and don't let the heat of the moment distract you. For example, in bronze, it's sooo usual with long long chases. When in fact you can push down a tower instead often!
I usually go Phage or Sheen first (depending on if I want the extra HP and MS for skillshot dodging or if I'm going full ham aggro in lane) and then Tiamat. Tiamat can also be a good option for aggro laning due to the 25 AD and extra health regen, your choice

At some point it clicked and I popped off nearly every game with her managing my way from Iron (after bad placements) through Bronze up to Silver 1 into my gold promos where my Winrate went down to like 54% and I got +12 but -18LP so I stopped playing for a while. After the mini-rework I didn't find the 'usual' success so I focussed this season on Gwen where I usually do well but can't 1v9 the games (what you need to do in low elo) so I touched Irelia again and I'm doing quite well on her. Currently like 50 games into the season, won my silver promos thanks to Irelia. Getting more general knowledge, map awareness and just staying calm when doing plays helped the most on all my "flashy" champs

Bro. Didnt talk once about how the q can go onto cool down. Or how to stack q charges by q onto enemy, stun, get two more q charges, ult and get 2 more q charges. This is crucial knowledge.. that's 5 a charges to help you in fights where you dont have minions around but in general that's the bread and butter, knowing when you'll keep the q up, when youll lose it and how to get a new charge.

Does Panther even play Irelia? This is extremely prejudiced, saying Irelia isn't hard but she is entirely dependent on Skillshots, Renekton and Jax are easy, they have zero skillshots, and wins straight up without needing to play in a wave. Not to mention in teamfights or skirmishes, there are no waves so you cannot miss a single skillshot in order to get your 5 stacks up, unless you hit multiple enemies with your R or Es. The missile speed and collision of R is so unreliable even Chovy or TF misses it a lot. Compare that to R steroid ults.
Well, normally Irelia builds Triforce so, it's for the empowered auto that sheen does, and also if there are minions nearby she can keep her passive going by stunning the minions while dealing more damage with sheen.
Ill never understand why people mispronounce irelia. Riot has said how its pronounced yet people say Ayrelia . Awsome vid nontheless just an observation from me. Earned yourself a sub 😊
She is just so hard to play. Quite a mechanical champion. I pulled off a very good combo facing riven but we lost. She just needs a week or so practice.
Is it bad that I feel she isn't as good mid unless you play against ad assassins? Its probably just me, I feel more strong against less ranged match ups and against ad match ups.

sometimes when they ban my diana i just pick irelia and i never lost a game with her. i'm silver and barely play irelia, it's just so easy to pick her up and destroy everyone.

when i play irelia, it feels like my only dmq source is the q. cause the w is defensive and the e is just utility. how the fuck am i supposed to trade with a fiora. not that i search the trade, but when she starts to hit me. it feels like the most impossible thing to do as irelia against fiora. but not just that. it is almost way to impossible to lane against ANY other toplaner such as darius, garen etc. i really miss the old irelia. i really do. this new one is just so unnecessary complicated

apparently there are no guides on how to beat reworked mordekaiser all I see are obsolete guides with both old Irelia and old Mord, gotta say google is getting unreliable now.
The Q resets in two situations: when Irelia kills a minion/monster/champion with it; and when she uses the skill on champions/big and epic monsters marked by E. That's why you can use Q 2x if you hit a champ with E

Bursting the mage is a lot harder than it sounds when he/she has 3.2k hp because ap items give so much hp and zonyas. Good fucking luck trying do anything to that shit.
