I feel the devs should reset the shadowland first clear rewards on the anniversary every year so it gives players incentives to play shadowland and also build their whole roster.
As an almost day one Marvel Future Fight player currently sitting at VIP 17 and searching for new challenges I cannot thank you enough Alex for such a great roadmap that is full of useful tips and solid examples that we could follow. Keep up the great work.
Sir, this will be my template to get to that Free CTP. I will replay this in the background (after I watch it) while I am cleaning the house. Great job
These are things I learned from your old vids and put them to work when I climber for 135 before pierce. The middle is the hardest part. One day I'll try again
Good effort imo. Yeah I gave it a play through. I run your videos at the same time as morning game session (game sound is off for me). Some things. Past new player (a little less than a year) most of the required levels (prior to tokens) are a cakewalk. See Level 4 for example with Klaue in this video. Usually the specific high levels like Phoenix or Spider-Sense are the one's that take some time and/or if you elect to take on one of the Challenge (Break The Pot, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, so on) with a weak character in order to reserve strong ones for something else. But once you built that handful of characters it is once again no sweat. I like it btw. This mode is too chunky and time consuming so I want to warp through it and reap the bennies which only start to matter when they stack up. Token's and the shop is just what it is. You're either saving for the big stuff or using it for rank up mats. No wrong way. For new players reading especially and using your video as a prop there is a question I had to figure out straight away regarding whether you play as three 6 star or better characters or not. By skipping that you forego a lot of bonus rewards which again start to count when they accumulate. Gold, Gear Up Kits, so on and so forth. My thought was once you have a comfortable amount of characters collected and levelled up (and at least a levelled up Phoenix, Spider-Sense and another Speed) do a run as far as you can go. Much of the rewards in the pre-token levels will only happen once. Chests aside in the token levels but I can say the drop ratio is kind of crap on those. In levels where there are two teams of three you only have to have three 6 star characters in the first slot. The second doesn't matter (and more likely you will not play as them so select your turds for this). After that do three 6 star character teams to get that culminative reward. The Gold boon in particular will come in handy especially if you are not a whale. For example the Gold Shop drops on the 12th and is going eat resources. Another as tempting as it may be you have days to finish and maybe Missions that require X amount (usually three) Shadowland level passes. On the other hand even with teams of three there are a LOT of levels so you don't have to be too sparing. But it's a good way if you don't have a whole day to spend on it like most people. There are lot of characters dubbed Shadowland Characters. Thanosvibes for example lists many of them. These are characters that won't bring home the bacon in any mode but in this one and on autoplay plus they become Gladiators and can handle high levels by themselves. Warpath, Viper, Korath, Molten Man (he will one shot the symbiote level) and Minni-Erva just for example. You learn these as you go. In three characters a lot of characters will never fight so again this a place to put the lame ones shy of Rumble mode. But again in those modes one character can bring home the win anyways. The other consideration which will happen often is using Shadowland to spring board other modes. The typical are Cosmic Core and the Artifact game board. In both cases some will say online to reserve that but they are wrong. You can collect points in these modes and those points will stay until they end of the event and carry over to whatever you spend them on. The only key is to try and line up an open Shadowland with said calendar events. So for example you do not want Shadowland unavailable on the first two days of Cosmic Core because oh look, it's a CTP for the free roll. Else when we talk Game Modes this is a good one with a nice set-up imo. I don't care for the caps but I don't care for them anywhere in this game. That goes against my own game dev and even sales and marketing education. Short version they are trying to create limitations in order to force players to spend real world cash with that. It is what it is though else this mode has the potential to drop a LOT of swag and it does not require Energy or any sort of special thing to play it which is awesome.
dev should add more item on shadowland shop..need more variety exchangeable item in the game..ctp box and odin blessing box we can get on event and otherworld battle already
This is actually the perfect video for me. I decided to climb shadowland this week because i just wanted to try since i have over 100 transcended toons.
I think they need to rework shadowland, for how frequent it reset, it takes too much time to play/afk it. I like that it makes u build up the roster but i feel like there are better way to do that
YESSSS I haven't made it to 135 YET. I honestly been dying for you to make a Shadowland vid. I only saw 15 min so far but will watch the whole hour good sir.
Broooo I'm not gonna lie if you would have made this an obvious shadowland video, I'd expect more views than what you got...ngl. so many folks have been waiting for this video. Loved it, watched the whole thing while i did my own clear
As much as I appreciate this guide video for the helpful advice provided, not the least of which being the reveal that one stage in particular is practically custom made for She-Hulk,, I am a bit surprised that it came out before the video about Invincible Rescue.
After your Tier list video I was thinking you could rearrange your Shadowland section into groups of ten (10) maybe, were Stage 1-10 would be the worst characters essentially, and you group more characters for the next range they'd currently be ideal for. This would of course, breaks groups away from just Typing and requires possibly more work to maintain, but it would certainly be useful for people trying to climb. The last time I tried was last year and I got to 185, and I've been thinking of trying again for 235. I just hate the timesink.
i wish they would update the shadowland stages as far as gameplay. Make the stages multi-leveled so that way fights can move from higher to lower or give you space to run if needed. idk they can refresh the actual stages a bit.
NGL, you reminding me about the purchasable CTP unequal discount means I’m almost certainly going to wait until a Cosmic Core event, pop one to reclaim other CTPs, and then abuse the free day to keep moving my Brilliant Rage around, climb as high as possible, then return it to the character currently making best use of it. Like, I need to reclaim some of those CTPs for crafting and shuffle some around anyway, so why not take advantage to finally get that selector? I had climbed to 157 previously and ran into that hard wall the scaling creates, and just figured it wasn’t worth the bother after that. Seeing the very real difference between the stages at max scaling definitely shows me that rerolling stages *can* be worth it instead of just being a waste of gold, and even without the new ability to swap CTPs around would have gotten me to try pushing again during the next cosmic core just to see how much higher I could get and hopefully secure the selector. Outside of cosmic core, I don’t really climb Shadowlands, though. Maxing out tokens is easiest by just stuffing max characters in each round from 36+, so outside of a real push to unlock more first clear rewards I’ll be sticking to that strat for shadowland shop buys.
1hr video let's goooo 🎉❤ coffee and popcorn don't mix. Unless chocolate or caramel etc. Something sweet. Hmm highest I've gotten is 168 I think. Sometimes I forget shadowland. Watching it to the end. Very impressed Alex with your climb🎉❤
By coincidence I did the same thing last week. Got to stage 246! I enjoyed getting the ctp selector and Mega uniform ticket, play older toons I haven't used in years. Going this high is like a Iron Man triathlon, it's not about strength anymore, it requires willpower to keep pushing. So I am glad i made it - likely not gonna do this ever again....
My best is 201 stages & i dont have psylocke, madylene pryor, gladiator, moon stone, makkari , thena, gilgamesh, hope summers, stryfe, molecule man, mr. Sinister, franklin, iceman,,sabertooth, kitty pryed , many paywall uniforms & some paywall toons are t1 😂
I have question my wolverine have 40% crt rate its enough right because he have passive 50% guaranted crt rate and i play him whit tusk master who have +20% guaranted crt rate?
I love sooooooo much shadowland and I do not play at all. I grew tired of it because of the repetition, too easy in the beginning and then too long for a week... It's also really not worth it for the rewards.
Starting a new account, without spending money, with no cards, swords, emblems, agent leveling, holiday uniforms, no Stark Stash, or stock to build, would be a nightmare. You simply couldn't participate on any level of satisfaction.
1 hour video?!!! LESSGOOOOOO! Appreciate everything u do, my man. Your channel has helped me a lot ever since I started playing MFF. Thank you for everything🤍
I've never gotten to 135 yet, but I don't even bother trying to climb SL anymore. Although I'm sure my account can get there if I tried. My ign is JAY COTE.
You can go way higher.. my account is way less than yours. Hahaha regardless of your account. I got to 254. With all Your cards swords and ctps is crazy. Plus I didn't use refreshes. Not that good bro ..for your account you can push higher for sure.
