Here is a tip regarding aghs: you can combine poof and shift queue to save your meepos from pretty much any spell. For example, you can poof and megameepo through WW ult, disruptor ult, etc. if you shift queue.
@@ZachisSublime Well, it is consistent with other behaviors involving spells with 0 cast time (megameepo), such as Puck being able to blink out of chrono after phase shift.
“Your ult is an ult” such a stupid yet effective statement. Amazing guide the hero is absolutely insane i dont even play him properly and still have a 60% win rate across 70 games
This guide is perfect, the only one that actually helps me learn what I should be doing and the mentality and gameplan of the hero. I’ve played for so long knowing how to do things with the hero, but not what I should be doing and couldn’t find guides or help anywhere. Just felt like “farm big item, hit people, hopefully not die” was the advice from other places because it was ONLY tips and tricks. Few people seem to understand that Meepo isn’t a hero you just pick up, learn skill builds and poof blink then win. He’s weird, people need all the nuance to understand him well
@@meeposkii I’ve come to prefer your style with the maxing the passive rather than maxing poof in most matches. I almost exclusively used the poof build and it always felt so unreliable, with blink poofing just not being enough to kill. I definitely prefer the reliability and early game power of maxing the passive, especially because it uses Diffusal Blade, which I’ve grown to love after I picked it up on the new update to destroy Medusa. I couldn’t find anyone that actually used it so I just trusted better players than me and dropped it, definitely something that was a mistake
video is pretty old so dont know if this had made it in to the game at that point, but you can toggle the Poof so only the meepo you are controlling wont Poof. This way makes the blink and poof combo a lot easier, you dont have to tab between the meepo clones in order to poof, you can just poof them all at the same time, blink in with original meepo and have all clones arrive at the exact same time. And thanks. I am a new Meepo player, and this video helps me alot.
I've been wanting to play and learn how to play meepo for some time. And now with Crownfall, and the new meepo set I thought it's about time I learn him. This helped a tone, thanks so much
Thank you for this guide, I played meepo back in dota 1 days, and now I installed dota 2 after 5 years of not playing. My MMR went to 750 playing midlane and I always get flamed then I saw this guide played 20 unranked meepos and I actually went 13 wins 7 losses then played rank games now I am 2k MMR and some even called me smurf lmao.
I appreciate it Meeposkii. You’re a true boss and earned a sub from me. I’m a 2k scrub who is learning Meepo and this video answered every question I had about the hero!
Hope you guys enjoy the new and improved 7.33d Meepo guide! Don't forget to like and subscribe as well as turn on the notification bell for new uploads! If you've already seen some sections from the last guide I made, I've labeled each section so feel free to skip to whatever interest you most! Twitch.tv/Meeposkii
FYI you can have Boots of Travel 2 in your main inventory and Boots of Bearing in the Pack Rat slot. Allowing the BoT2 speed + teleport and the BoB aura and stats. Also if you're lucky enough to get it, you can summon Necronomicon units with the Book of the Dead and then store it in your backpack and swap back to Boots of Bearing. Also works for Helm of the Overloard, capture the unit and then pop it in your backpack. Then you have 5 meepos, 4 necoronomicons, 1 ancient creep, 2 manta style images, and partridge in pear tree. It's beautiful if you can pull it off.
Im stuck with 3k mmr in a while but when I used meepo it boost me 1k mmr. Im in 4k now. I dont do hotkeys to each meepo. I just use 1 for main meepo and 2 to other meepos.
Pro schools teaching dota : what is most important is farming creeps. You need to concentrate on your farm to win games. Avoid opponents and don't enter teamfights... This dood: so when I'm level four I can go and terrorize entire map, they teleport 4 vs me I kill everyone, then I take t1 towers, then I break t2 tower then a take t3 tower and use it to break their throne. Right through invincibility of t4 towers, but in most cases those just run away from the map. T4 towers (growing legs): fuck this shit!
Good guide, meepo is now stronger then ever with his aghs upgrade, most people dont even realize it before they commit all their spells for nothing. Silencer is annoying to deal with tho.
This is really great stuff! I had always gone max poof with 2x dragon lance into Blink, regardless of the lineup, and started playing really aggressively when I had those and level 11. Started doing the Ransack build with Diffu/Manta this week and I have an 80% win rate! Most of the games feel like free wins and they are practically over at 20 minutes.
What is your mouse? Your Accuracy is insane, may you share your mouse settings? Windows, DPI, mouse acceleration! Thanks for the Tutorial you‘re a beast
If you can make early rotations Ransack is better, if they have good heroes against you I would max poof and try to farm some items before making big plays.
I had a couple of questions. I have taken to sending the clone to the wisdom rune at 7 minutes, feels like buying tome. Do you think this is a waste of time assuming you arent missing a kill? can always just poof back if need be, and I feel like it adds very well to the snowball. I also found it odd that you didnt mention the tormentor at all. Its a pretty important objective if even just to deny, and meepo is the single best hero at solo killing them afaik. I understand it is somewhat contrary to your aggressive playstyle, but the free shard for your support, plus the gold bounty definitely seems worthwhile. you can solo them when they spawn, and you can do it fast enough to even steal the enemy's in many cases.
Wisdom rune at 7 is always ideal, but generally in my bracket my supports usually have that handled already. As for tormenter I didn't mention it because I figured most meepo players already knew you could solo it. I wanted focus more on strategy/teamfight execution. When I do my in depth replay Ill make sure to mention it.
@@meeposkii Yeah I've seen some DogKing videos where he actually snatches both 7 min runes, and I've managed to replicate it myself, its pretty op. What do you think of Atos first before/instead of diffu?
@@auto1nfanticid3 Atos gives really good stats but I think the active on diffusal is better for early game rotations. Both work more or less the same though.
I think safelane meepo is really good. Give's you more time to farm since you aren't pressured to make plays, if your mid it's your job to rotate and win sidelanes. If your safelane you can just chill and show up when you feel strong.
Think you could've done a better job explaining the small poof mechanic like clicking the poofs on where you plan to blink... most newbies don't know how poof works and might click it in the middle of their screen (or randomly) instead of aiming ur mouse where the main meepo will blink to.
Your probably right... When making this guide I had more advanced dota players in mind. I will try to remember the completely new meepo players next time.
The number one rule is, change Tab to Space. F1 for main Meepo. 1 for all meepos. 2 for other meepos besides main one. Press F1 blink, net space W (5x). If net is about to expire, net again with other meepos.
How about vs tinker? i mean tinker meta now is shiva overwhelm and eblade, and maybe sometime they buy aghs for counters meepo, cause i always meet meepo spammer and i always win (play with tinker), btw my mmr around 7.4k in sea, and they buy atos for first item, hw about that?
Useless microphone max volume still quiet. Also 1 meepo 1 net.................😑 Will work gigantourly for 1k mmr with 0 help and 4 carrys aka all-pick-ranked.
Wow, so glad I caught this video. Really broke my brain open on how to play it - I was pretty much playing head down jungle farm until level eleven+blink dagger, but you really showed me the power of the hero starts way before that. Thank you!
I go 1/1/1 only if lane is good, if you are in bad lane you can go 0/2/1 so as soon as you get second meepo you can clear jungle stacks and clear mid wave
i always go treads, dragon lance and blink on meepo in my games. im crusader 5/archon 3 realisticly. i dont like playing meepo without a blink. thoughts? Edit: ill try this build out for sure tho. looks dangerous
