I dunno how to feel about that. Many things are pretty nice and I really appreciate (and respect) the effort you put into this but it looks somewhat bulky and messy (no offense). I'd rather enjoy my "simple" N3DSXL which has no mods apart from the usual softmodding of course. That being said I hardmodded other handhelds like the DMG, GBC, OLED Switch and even an iPod Classic lol but I prefer modifications that are "inside the housing" of the device without adding too much outside of them. You new, modchips, new displays, new batteries, new memory chips and so on.
The modification that I always wanted to make to a new 3ds is the battery, there are already 2 attempts that I have had buying 2000mah batteries and one 1850 and they are always lost on Aliexpress , My other packages arrive but the batteries. No, I don't know what the hell is happening, for me that would be the definitive mod, but the circumstances screw me!!😢
Such an epic walkthrough! I also have a Galaxy Edition 3DSXL and I recently modded it. Such an incredible machine! I love being able to play my favorite NES, SNES, GB/GBC, GBA, DS, PlayStation 1, Sega Genesis, and Sega GameGear games! So much to do and learn!
thank god, i am so glad to see a 3ds with actual mods installed in it. way too many videos where they talk about making the "ULTIMATE MODDED 3DS!!" and then they just install cfw and maybe if you are lucky a USB charging mod.
I wish I had a 3DS like yours, right now I’m stuck using a certain discontinued 3DS emulator to make my Tomodachi Life videos (you’ve probably heard of said emulator;))
The (theoretical) limit is 2TB. The highest card I have seen work on a 3DS (in that case it was a New 2DS XL) was a 1.5TB micro SD card. 2TB cards aren't really widespread on the market, barely anyone has them so I have not seen someone test it, but we can safely assume the limit is 2TB due to the limit of the MBR partitioning system. To get cards 64GB or higher working on the 3DS, (of course with this number not exceeding 2TB) you have to format the card to FAT32. The default Windows formatter is not able to achieve this task, but there is much software that can do this, such as guiformat or Rufus.
Mhhmm i see what yt is doing here.. I've looked up how much these go for in my Country (not like i do have money since i have no job yet..) but god daaaamn i want an 3DS (XL) and mod it- i always found it more cool than a Switch (imo it is) I'll happily get one when i can.. tho gotta thank yt for this amazing vid lol
