This video is result of a promotional collaboration between Gentlemans Automotive Streetwear (www.gasclothing.us) and Rockwell Watches (rockwellwatches....) The video was filmed at Utah's premier, world class racetrack Miller Motorsports Park www.millermotor... in Tooele, Utah. The Bigwheel pictured was built by Gentlemans Automotive Streetwear. Basic specs are as follows:
Custom chassis
9HP Honda 4 stroke
Wilwood disc brake (rear)
Stratos karts rear axle and sassy.
20" BMX bicycle front end
Universal twist throttle
Scooter master cylinder

Yup got my two gravity trikes made ,did some down hill bombing,worked out fine.I also finnished my moto trike ,and having a blast on it ,allready went thru one set of pvc's,lol!I'm curently building three more.

All they've done is chop a go-kart and mount a bike wheel to the front, check out the colinfurze channel, he does this shit properly.

care to explain why you think so? i mean i personally like having all the weight in the center under the seat and yes his has some flaws too but i feel it works better than with this kart since the weight isn't exactly balanced on it.

+99helldemon This video isnt good either, engine on the side is bad. Colinfurze isnt terrible, but still needs work. most that bothers me is the exhaust coming up right by your nuts lol

yeah thats my issue too like i said im doing pretty much the same build but im definitely gonna try and find a way to move the exhaust. i'll probably make other adjustments as a go with it and get to experiment a bit.

im 59 years old and im building a couple of down hill drift trikes,so maybe i could have company on the hill.And i will be building a motorized drift trike also ,already got my raptor 6.5hp motor. but this here moto trike is bad azz,i also want it to do 360's,i like to fish and hunt but i got no big boy toys ,so this be it for me.peace out:D

I thinking of building one of these "Motorized Drift Trike" use the fork from a dirtbike, and enigne is gonna be CRF450R :) put some spikes on the tires and drift on the lake :) :) put the project on youtube in 3 episodes? :D

+aag jjj The engine is way to big, to powerful and to heavy. I absolutely understand the desire to do this with an oversized engine, but seriously ... a 250cm³ would be plenty. Everything above that will just spin the tires more (without any effect), make the whole cart bigger and heavier and therefore less fun to drive. You could, however, think about a go-cart/drift-trike combination. With rubber wheels that engine would make more sense. The power will make them spin anyway.

without using black pvp pipes, you could just buy new tires but with low tire friction, so you can drift!

+riceboyy_ PVC works better because it's cheaper, lasts longer and is more easily replaceable.

whats the point of rear brake, with pvc? seems like it wouldn't do much. To set the trike maybe? why not do motor work for more power and gear it to keep them spinning? I'm in the process of making a frame but not seeing the need for rear brake. suggestions or reasoning?

It's used as an e-brake I guess but also if they take off the PVC and use it as more of a go-kart
