To help me handle large board panel cutting that my table saw fence can not handle so I deside to build this vertical panel saw with more cheap and affordable materials using 608z bearing instead using expensive linear bearings, with the same precision and durablility
This is part 1 of 2
I hope you guys enjoyed
Materials that we need :
1. Square steel tube 3cm x 3cm x 150cm = 2 pcs (1.2mm thick )
2.Square steel tube 1.5cm x 1.5cm x 9cm = 8pcs (1.2mm thick )
3. M8 threaded rod 9cm length = 20 pcs
4. 608z bearings = 20 pcs
5. aluminum plate 40cm x 30cm x 5mm thick
6. A lot of M8 nut at least 130 pcs
7. 150cm x 80cm x 18mm Plywood
etc

Mas, itu kalau Alumunium plate nya diganti PVC sheet apa bisa..? Kalau bisa yang ketebalan berapa MM ya..? Sama mau nanya itu alumunium nya beli dimana Mas bagus banget masih ada lapisannya.. Terima kasih..

it's the seams to be the same model as the jsk-koubou one. You reverse the saw that sound good (no problem cutting in the wrong wray?). Thanks

Same model or very similar,only far more complicated to build

I've been watching many panel saw videos on youtube, and I think what JSK and others do all with the same concept/structure. The difference is only on the materials they use. JSK tools is more expensive in my country. I believe this one is cheaper. Hope I'll build it someday ;D

What are the round black things? Are they rubber washers? You have them in order in the middle section: nut, rubber washer, bearing rubber washer, nut.

You should probably use red ThreadLock-or at least lock washers/nuts.

Do you like my "Parallel Guided Power Saw?" seen on you tube. Do you wish to join me to manufacture it. On the video you may see some pyramids I cut with my saw, which cannot be easily cut with another saw. The manufacturing company does not want my saw, so we have to start our company to make it.

Excellent build, loving the simplicity. Wonder what it would take to rotate saw for horizontal cuts.

I think it will be more simple to do the horizontal position you don't have to add counter weight, beside that it almost the same

@@jhonarief Was thinking the same thing, adjust specs for horizontal. As far as counter weigh, was thing exercise springs or bands, easy to get used while reducing overall weight for folks needing portability.

@@espey127 I think that when you use a spring or a band you won't get constant weight and again you have to always park your saw on top position

Did find some extension springs for $5 us 9/16 × 16 1/2 × .054 inches support 9.5 pounds. Two of these would certainly handle to job. Please don't get me wrong, love your design. You ignited my brain. Thanks for sharing.
