the main problem i have with enlisted flying (and i fly alot) is the auto leveling system they have. Let me freaking disable it, so my plane doesn't want to level itself out all the time while maneuvering.
I only have that problem with Hurricane That damn thing kept auto leveling up when I'm trying to dive down for a strafing run in the beginning Then it pretty much stopped Still it's really annoying whenever I start flying as Hurricane Never happened with Normandy planes
My problem is that I’m useless in a plane. What happens is that I’ll have only a machine gun, then I have to attack tiny little infantry dudes from really high up. How am I supposed to see my targets? How am I supposed to know which side my friends are on and which side the bad guys are on?
whenever i go out with plane sometimes people get angry at me saying they are complaining on forums because of noobs like me. even tho the reason i can't get alot of kills inside a plane is because my team is not marking anything. i used to play alot of warthunder so i know how planes work
Honestly been flying as fighter support for my buddy and I’ve been getting some pretty solid dog fights, decent bomb runs with them too every now and then
yeah the dog fights have 100 percent picked up since the release of this video which is great. I have also pretty much switched my line up to be more of a fighter role than a CAS.
@@EnlightenedEnlisted i play with 2 tank players and one other pilot so i just always ran fighter because i tend to be the better one in air to air stuff but its been an absolute blast as of recent with the dog fights
Am currently on BF-109 BR-1 rn my tactic is “slow down and start fighting and when it’s getting a bit too close I drop the bombs and pull up while speeding up and repeat”
Rolling scissors are the way to go in a FW190 however. But it takes a bit more getting used to, when you do it however, most people dont know how to deal with it. I regularly cause overshoots in my 190s.
Risky but doable I suppose. Excellent roll and engine power help a lot. But the stall speed is pretty high, and it loses a fair bit of speed with pitching. Obviously a lot better than a flat scissors, and not suicidal like a turnfight. But it offers so much I the way of avoiding the need to turn fight at all, really seems best to just jink and reset if you aren't desperate.
Nah bro the ju 188 rear gunners are amazing I usually sneak behind someone and just watch or if someone is behind I keep going in circles until he die Wich happen pretty quickly also in the sbd I can defend myself pretty effectively that way. To be honest rear gunners are just underrated
Depends on what you are fighting. JPN planes get blasted to pieces with them, though I haven't seen Zeroes yet. Normandy both sides have very high firepower, the attacker will often die with a relatively short burst. Tunisia depends a lot more on which plane.
Planes are extremely underrated in enlisted. Unfortunately, like the machine gun, it's sort of useless without proper coordination from teammates. Half the time strafing enemies and dropping bombs was beyond hard without any coordination, it was basically guessing. The battle field in enlisted is kind of chaotic too, in real situation, most tanks would never engage in specific type of terrain, they would just flatten the entire urban area to the ground. Most tank would never engage nose point with enemies.
Watched 6 minutes got into a game. Killed my first plane and killed two infantry. Now I just gotta learn how to keep my speed low and not crash when pulling up. No lie played about 10 games as pilot and could not kill a single plane or person. 5/5 recommended this video. 😊
Same Bro! I'm actually quite good as infantry and tanks but flying is brutal for me. Really struggling to get any kills so thinking about forgetting flying
@@joetamson4054 a hint to help. Sit in practice range mode. Really helped used to strife runs. Started to destroy lobbies. Unfortunately the game because unplayable on Xbox like 2 months ago. So I uninstalled it. ( Around the mech update) so much lag I couldn't play it. Anyways once you get the hang of where to put your throttle how high to go to see troops. Then there is dog fighting Listen for planes Spawn camo planes and people. Once you get the hang of it You will easily get 15 kills per plane

I have done a few suicide bombs but it's mostly to take out a really deeply entrenched tank sitting behind the grey line that I've already tried to make a few passes on prior and failed to hit. I mostly play fighters for the simple idea of Anti CAS because playing even tanks in WT has made me understand that the guy who can take down the CAS can really help the team win games mainly due to the CAS players only having planes and 1 or 2 tanks. it's pretty much my forte at this point and any fighters I can run are probably my best asset. Again though, it does mean that I can be a bit imprecise when it comes to bombing tanks so sometimes I just gotta nose in and drop the small payload right on them sacrificing my plane to take out the tank that has 50 kills racked up
The hurricane on the tunisia campaign does suck, like you said. Specially if you don't have a premium account like i do and just the free version. No bombs, no canons, just 4 crappy machine guns. If i'm lucky i'll score a kill or two on ground troops.
Hold up why your plane doesnt shake violently when you get closer to the ground? When i try to shoot my rockets and get closer to the ground my plane just shakes violently. I tought it was a feature until now. Do you have any idea why is that cuz it really annoys me
@@tm03035 turns out it was an fps problem. For some reason when my fps drops to a certain level during attack runs my plane starts to shake. I solved it now.
i do have trouble on certain maps seeing infantry, sometimes I will throw a rocket or too into an area where I think enemies are and then I will make a second pass and unload on that area after iv marked it
So, how can I see other plans that are chasing me? I always get shot but I can’t see where I’m getting shot from so I don’t know where to maneuver to engage
Unfortunately I play on console. But I still love the game. I used to have cross play enabled but found consistently that pc players were shooting me down no matter how I tried to counter or evade. Has anybody else found that? I did eventually begin to grind and got much better but I’m curious as to whether pc players do have an advantage. I’ve found ‘console only’ seems to be much fairer or even in terms of gameplay. I have come across some very good fighter pilots on console. As somebody who is interested in aerial combat of the 2nd World War I think you can apply a lot of reality tactics to the game. In reality dog fighting is considered really stupid. Of course, it can not always be avoided but if you like the aerial game play in Enlisted (as I do), it is better to play the sneaky pilot as opposed to the one that goes straight into the map as fast as possible. The one down side to this game is the long grinding process to rank up. This means that there is a population of enlisted who try to find quick ways of unlocking the new classes. Planes become a good method to this as they do indeed create high scores if you know what you are doing. But the upside to the long grind is that you scale out the people who genuinely want to play and persist with getting better. The biggest give away in this game is the players who start shooting at the ground along time before they reach the target zone. You immediately give yourself away and become a focus point. It is better to fly high and avoid any potential visual contact. 1.) identify the target 2.) observe the target 3.) decide whether to engage If you decide to engage….get behind the aircraft and get close to it. If you position directly behind then the rear view of the enemy pilot means that they will struggle to see you if they are good and check for who’s potentially going to get them. Flying high gives you the advantage, almost garaunteed every time. I don’t think many people bother to look up. Combat flaps at 50 and below throttle -are priceless in tight manoeuvres to turn on somebody. I see a lot of players who struggle to pull up from sharp vertical manoeuvres. Ease of the throttle, pull up and engage take off flaps. This has saved me more times than when I used to keep them in the up position. Basically the flaps are crucial and using them will only bring benefits. Great video! You make flying look effortless. Really, it is a skill in this game. I think you have to be more cautious when flying in enlisted which is why I love it. it adds to the threat.

You use your speed from the dive in, to gain height out..... which can be used to gain speed towards resupply.... Also you always climb? You're in a plane, why be close to the ground except to deliver??
Why 'no one gives a shit about Stalingrad'? Possibly my most favorite campaign and the most iconic battle of WW2. Now, a question: I hate WT flying physics/controls and have always been flying in Battlefield, now in Enlisted I totally don't understand why my lane auto-levels, why I can't fly vertically, why the mouse pointer doesn't follow the center of my screen and makes my pilot look at the floor when I pitch up. Basically I just want to fly with keyboard and use the mouse only for very fine aiming adjustments, is that even possible?
I play enlisted a lot its one of my favourite games but on normandy i see people with 5 planes in one squad. How do i get multiple vehicles in a squad?
Slow your engine right down. Either come down at a steep angle and drop when just before the target, or if coming at the target horizontally, then drop before, at slow speed. If you get confident with the mechanics of the aircraft, you could fly much lower and that will increase your chances of getting a hit. I know this as it has worked for me on multiple occasions.
@@J.Chapman-Drums 150 feet is the lowest I have flown with out crashing into the ground or other objects... I find I get yeeted though by tanks. I'll try slowing the engine down on a bombing run though.
@@kingdarkem give it a go and see how you get on. Focus on getting better, not high scores. The high scores will come if you develop the skills. You will end up developing your own tactics and they will work for you. Experiment with the flaps and speed. See how the aircraft responds depending on what you do. Can I barrel roll? Can I do a full turn quicker with landing flaps applied? If you want to master diving and dropping go to practice mode and work out the height you need to pull up from. This will all help! Good luck. I just unlocked the Bf109 F1 in the Moscow campaign. Having a lot of trouble coming from using the Stuka B2 as it takes so much more effort/space to pull up compared with that plane and wind up slamming the ground...... Just wondering if anyone has any solid tips for strafing/bombing in fighters? are you coming in at a shallower dive? cutting airspeed? or any control settings that may help. I play on PS4. Thanks
Yeah for a BF 109 you are best coming in at a slow almost level attack run to the ground. Staffing is rough in this game right now and only a few aircraft can really do it effectively. I would honestly say you are better off with the stuka over the Bf109
@@Vallhallen_ You get a stiffening of the controls surfaces with the 109 at a certain air speed, meaning it gets less responsive, if i remember correctly its most maneuverable between 230-280 khm IAS Wich is also important in dogfights because in this range you can turn sharper if you have to.
35-45 deg dive drop bombs once nose goes over target (it’s more nuanced than that but that’s a good starting point of reference)z. Eventually it will just ‘feel right’ honestly I’d just for practice sim in the same plane in war thunder
Honestly whenever i fly i just do nothing till im shot down. Just play to fly for fun. Trying to do low passes and crazy stuff. Thats how i figured out you could actually land the damn plane lmao came in on a field so fast but survived.

Fly low and slow dropping bombs you risk blowing your own plane up.. Not much of a guide tbh - very high level Fighters are very powerful, just need to know when to pull them.
i hate germany & that absurdly overpowered ju87, they were not that fast to catch a P-38 nor heavily armed. because it could not dog fight well, at all. in reality. but this is all fake soooo.......
I think the main problem is that there is no alert worked in the game when a enemy plane spawns in they invisible know and from ahead where ime at couse mostly they focused at me couse they angry at me couse i bommed half there team to bits :) and then they always come to revengekill me this way its a cowards tacktic couse i will own most in real dogfight
