Just got done watching your efficiency video and you talked about how you do bosses not efficiently but rather you do them how you enjoy them. I would love to see some guides/videos on some examples of bosses you do non-efficiently. I'm coming back to RS3 after like 5+ years of only playing OSRS and can't complete a lot of bosses because all these other guides show how to do it with end game gear. Would love to expand my boss pool from just GWD 1.
@@Jayboy607 I would love to do that! it is for sure on my list, but those videos do take a lot of time to make. I will be working on them very soon though :) One thing that i do have to say; i do them inefficiënt WITH Mainly end Game gear though; but there are a lot of work arounds :)
Once you unlock the last figurehead with azure it gives morale mainly and a tiny bit of seafaring. I been doing ports everyday for 6 months at least and still not unlocked every building upgrade. Getting your 4th ship though is a priority if going for trimmed. Maximise the gains each day. Getting the best captains turn up at the bar takes an eternity even with all the upgrades. I think using a merchant on every voyage is the best way to get the most resources each voyage as those end game upgrades are like 20,000 azure each and a misson takes like 14 hours. Even then I am happy if I get 500 to 800 azure a mission so it takes forever. 😂
Number one tip is not to stop there. Whether you want to make some semi passive GP go after invention components you should continue with your daily missions
@@ChevalricRSI am trying to build 1 piece for each combat style (you can farm better gear at this point, but I imagine 1 piece of t88 gear is not detrimental still and saves on time farming), unlock a single scrimshaw and probably go reefwalker cape and I can probably do all this just by finishing it through. Though I imagine you want to fully maximize your crew for continuing on as a money maker and actually when you look at the crew that cost jade, I assume you could just keep buying those if you don't mind them dying and actually just continue through without fully developing just to finish off the speed run. I am about to hit the 3rd last place so 2 more places to acquire (I assume once you are at the last place you can kind of just stop). I was still planning to do these two zones on the way in order to upgrade the ship, actually the lower zones still provide distance travelled so I see no real reason to spend a longer time than needed in the final zones. Unless you think otherwise and then with my logic do you still think the dailies are worth it for the passive parts (given that you can earn gp at about 50-100mil/hour at this point through bossing?)
This hero this helps alot with my ships being slow slash sinking my two small boats will fair better now. This is soo helpful ports to some players like me is not a straightforward time Ty ty ty hero :)
@@ChevalricRS yeah man, i found some guides about this but are kinda outdated and still a bit confusing. But it’s not too bad after all. I just started this after I max and all because it’s so confusing. 😁 Thanks man. 😊
@@ChevalricRS Yep, it's called the Totem of Navigation. One piece is earned finding 40 ancient zygomites, One piece is hidden in the southeastern ruins, One piece comes from clearing an overgrown idol. Place it and charge it up, and your voyage times are cut by 15% for the rest of the week. Which, I'm on the Bowl, my voyages average about 8 hours normally, this chops off a little more than an hour for each one.
I disagree with this guide. As you said in the beginning, you can set back your region. This is hugely important whenever you're entering a new region, because you can use it to train up your new crew. It works like this: send your old crew off on three missions that seem doable on the first day for resources (even if it costs you your special mission - it's important to get the early rush of materials going!). When they return, send two ships off again immediately, but keep the third for training. Before you send of the two ships, swap to the Arc. This ensures you get at least 1 mission of 20 minutes completion time. Use the resources you gained to train up to 3 new crew members. Don't forget to include a Rallying Cry member for 10% extra xp if you have it, but don't worry about the lotus glasses. They'll be more useful elsewhere. Once they come back, they're instantly level one, and should be just barely worse than your current crew (depending on how much you trained them up). Two more 20 minute missions gets them to level 2 and now they're practically ready to start replacing your current crew. Keep in mind a Bureaucrat's bonus works better like this, because a boat with 2 katana clansmen gives only one boost of solidarity while a boat with one sniper and one clansman gives two. Don't forget to nab a couple merchants for your resource voyages! You can build cherry trees as hotspot buildings (max 4) to increase resources as well, especially important. Basically it comes down to this: if you are only using 6 voyages a day, you are wasting 9 voyages worth of xp on your crew. Those are easy to send out at 20 or even 48 minutes each (which are the first two regions). Hell, if you make use of the Surula reroll, you can get up to 17 voyages a day. With special voyages that's 19 voyages a DAY! Don't fret if you fail to finish all 15 (or 17 on thursday) because you can keep up to 3 for the next day.
Thank you for thr guide. For the storyline or the scrools, is there a place to say you've completed everything in each region? I just reached the hook region but how do I know I completed everything beforehand? Thanks!!
BRO. I'm here watching your vids, haven't done port in a while. You motivated me to go check it out. And BAM I have a trio mission waiting for me right there.
As an iron, unless you want to go for Completionist down the road, it is not NEEDED to prioritize story missions. However i would still recommend you doing so, in the off chance you do want to get that completionist cape. Personally I think the voyages you'd miss for your equipement / scrimshaws, are worth the agony of waiting for the story missions to pop up again. Yet again if you will never go for comp cape, don't bother with them :) but trust me it is worth
I juts wish you had shown us, like we were kids, how to put a crew on a ship and launch it. I'm just starting out and for some reason I have a ship, I have a crew, I have voyages....but I can't launch any voyages. There's no button that I can see that allows me to put my crew onto the ship. Thanks for trying though.
Can I please ask you a simple question? When you upgrade Lodgings and build in the order - FEARLESS, SWASHBUCKLERS and MARINER (10K Azure EACH), are the stats locked in permanently after each build? It would seem dumb if you lost the stats for the previous build . . . & likewise for Shipwright?
What I'm curious about though is the endgame: When you have unlocked everything there is in ports and you only do it for passive gp's from the trade goods. What is the best setup then in terms of crew? I have a ship for morale, one for seafaring, and one for combat, and the last one for missions with mixed stats. Each ship has a Kharidian exile character. The other 4 crew members are filled with zhonghu player (morale), stargazer (seafaring), and gu bodyguard (combat) for the first three ships respectively. (e.g. morale ship: kharidian exile + 4x zhonghu player). For the 4th ship, I jumble them around depending on what stats the mission requires. So the 4th one gets a kharidian exile, and then a mix of the 3 aforementioned characters. For that last ship I also have an Azure Golem around to use on missions that require all three traits. With this setup however, missions for trade goods generally get me +-73% chance at succeeding. And as we all know that should mean they fail about 1/4th of the time, while in reality they fail more like 50% of the time. So I was wondering if there is any way at all to up my chances on these missions to 100%?
i am not sure EXACTLY how it works, but if you just want resources (even the rare ones) wouldnt it be worth going back 1-2 regions for some easier missions? idk if the special ones will scale, but usually you dont get that many less resources from the lower regions; but with a higher succes chance so maybe in the long term it will net you more profit?
Bro i have a question and i hope and wish you could reply to me. How do i unluck the special voyage of the assasin? i'm trying to do the miniquest section of the arc to get some extra taijitu and, i'm stock on the 3rd miniquest because i can't unluck the assasin.
First of all, the miniquests on the arc have ZERO influence on the ports minigame. If you mean the story missions within ports; do you have the stats? i completely forgot to mention the stats you need for the missions within ports: "She is unlocked and can give special voyages to the player running the port if they have 90 Slayer. " Hope this helps, if you have any more questions please let me know
player owned Ports needs to be redone. It just takes too much effort to complete for the rewards it gives and for the importance it has in the Game. I mean the Wands are fine, but months of work just for the 3rd best Wands in the Game? and the Armours.... Itˋs easier to farm Achto Equipment than getting the Stuff from PoP.... either reduce the Amount of time the Voyages take or increase the rewards you get...
I agree 100%, another way could be a set amount of gp to complete it either faster or instantly per voyage, would be a mice gold sink (e.g. 5m to complete instantly)
NOPE, you just need to get to the area mentioned in the video :) but most likely by the time you get all the missions done, you will be there. (unless you are only camping story missions and spamming port enhancers)
