TIP: when tagging pokemon use a symbol like “ . “ before the tag, eg: .Transfer (i use .T), this way no pokemon will show up with names similar to your tag, also the tags can be much shorter (dont use stuff like @, or !, because they are used in search strings)
most annoying thing about tagging is the tags page, wish you could reorganise better, get longer names, more colours, had a grid option instead of list, and could remove the “preview” of pokemon with the tag
Great for GO fest prep! Thank you, I love the depth and comprehensive guide. Currently doing my storage again. I’ve been using save search strings for; Hundos, PvP checks, High IVs (3*&15 in either Atk,HP,Def), Lengendary (to trash or trade), a Trade string, and finally a Junk It string after I’ve done all of those. I’ve ended up collecting a few of the same ‘mon with similar “High IVs” like 12-15-15 or a 15-12-13. I’d much rather keep the 15 Atk for raiding and lose some bulk that a lesser DPS etc.
Being f2p, I have 1800 storage and try to keep 300 spaces open. I have to make myself rules, like no more than 3 of a species that isn't absolutely top tier. I almost never hang onto stuff purely for trading or candy - it just clogs up too much space. I'll keep shinies and legendaries for trades, but that's it, and com day shinies are low priority. For pvp, if it's not a top 200 I won't keep it.
Awesome video! I appreciate it and your ideas a lot! I'm at my limit when it comes to Pokemon storage. There were two things I felt really helpful in your video. The idea of tagging lots of Pokemon in large quantities will most likely help me. Also, saving search strings will save time for me when trading/transferring Pokemon. Would be nice if the game had a way sorting Pokemon by quantity so I could see which Pokemon species I have too many of in an easy way.
Dope vid Lucky, i have my tags set up as Ace Pokémon, Trade-able, level 50, mega level 3, fusion legends , Tao trio, Aura Trio, Creation trio and etc , remove frustration, double transfer, purify, those are my tags
TLDW: categorize all the kinds of Pokemon you want to keep, and why, so you can quick filter for everything you don’t want or have a category for in order to transfer or otherwise clear up space. I think I got lost in some of the details here but I still think this is a very solid video.
Hello! I found your video EXTREMELY informative! (You worked very hard on it and it shows!) So I wanted to say thank you and ask a question. You said you kept pokemon to transfer during a guaranteed XL event but I've been looking and I can't find how frequent they are or when is the next one. Do you perhaps know how rare they are or if they come by often? Since I only see double normal candy transfer events, and my pokemon space isn't the biggest I was wondering about those XL transfer events.
For the guaranteed XL candy, I was actually referring to trading when we have that special bonus active or from doing distance trades (100+ km away = guaranteed XL candy)
I need a video guide for new players thats basic...this is way too intense. I'm level 29 and just coming back to the game after years of not playing and this is insane. I don't even understand 90% of what you've said. I realize this is not for people like me, this is for long-time players, experts, looking to perfect their inventory management.
Man you can trade me all those shiny legendaries you dont need anymore lol. Been out the game for to long that it would massively help the catching up :P
my problem is I hang onto things cos people want them, but they insist on waiting till 4* friends to save dust, and then stop playing I also don't keep anything under 91% IV unless its regional or rare like unowns
