I caught zapdos doing this trick but I wasted 35 balls on it. Then like a week later my wife had moltres and I did another 35 balls but it ran. So I don't think there's any "always catch it" trick, just wishful thinking.
Correct there's never an always catch it trick.... Just an increased chance of catching. The base catch rate is 0.3% chance but after 10 balls have been used that goes up to nearly 2% but that's still not great but hopefully gives you a slightly better chance.
I've researched this catch trick all throughout 2023. Saw about 65 birds caught 11 of them. There is definitely something there because before learning of the trick aka from day of daily incense release to January of 2023 I had not caught a single one
@@elijerrr that's understandable. The odds are not drastically risen by the catch trick. You can use it do everything perfectly and still lose the bird. Lost a zapdos yesterday though I did everything perfectly, landed an excellent and it was only 300cp. Luck still plays a major part. But still the fact that I started catching only after starting to use it proves there is something there. Too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence
It was random luck. This worked after my 3rd bird encounter, when I learned of it. But hasn't worked since. I stopped doing it after the 5th or 6th time it didn't work for me. My wife and daughter also got theirs this way but again. Hasn't worked since. I got articuno and zapdos this way. They both got zapdos. I was dumb and used my zapdos to get a shiny solgaleo on pokemon home for sword and shield. I wish I didn't...
We all make mistakes and learn from them, I'm happy you have managed to get one and the rest of your family as well. Hope you get more Galarian birds soon 🙏
there is no trick, don't waste time on throwing balls to the side... the silph research found that every time you use a PREMIERE BALL AFTER COMPLETING A RAID and the pokemon (doesnt have to be legendary) wasnt caught, the next throw will have a slightly better catch rate. this might be the same for catching a shadow pokémon after defeating a grunt/leader with PREMIERE BALL (that wasnt checked in the silph's research). but catching a galar legendary with other type of ball is the same as any other wild encounter catch, you can throw 100 balls away to the side or even more, but sadly it will not help improving the catch rate.
Thanks for your feedback, this video was made when the Galarian Birds had not long since come out so I was researching all the ways you could potentially increase the chance of catching them. Since I have found other ways in which the chances would be increased and I will share them in a future video. Thanks for your comment, others have found this to help them whilst others haven't. Unfortunately the game never gives us easy ways to get these types of things but all we can do is play the RNG game and try to help each other in ways.
@@Danzobiggins I aprreciate your effort to try help players catch the galar birds. Also noticed that the video is from about a year ago, but it popped in my youtube feed and i see in the comments players still try this method, published by many youtubers since the birds release, and i think they should know it doesnt work, and if they want to increase the chance of catching a galar bird, it would be better not waisting time on throwing balls to the side, and continue to the next RNG encounter. I can add, from my own expeience in the past, throwing even more than 100 pokeballs to the side wasnt helpful in catching, but with enough patience i caught all 3 birds over the time.
Maybe I'm missing something but doesn't the chance of catching the Pokemon simply increase because you've tried catching it more? I don't think it has anything to do with the number of pokeballs "used" which in your case have been thrown away.
No unfortunately the chance doesn't increase on the fact that you've tried catching it more. This theory was based on stats for legendary raids and catching legendary Pokémon from raids. With Galarian birds being legendary Pokémon I based this video around the possibility that the same mechanics would be in use for the legendary Galarian birds as they are on the legendary raids. But since this video there has been more concrete findings on how you can increase your catch rate for these Galarian Birds and I will be bringing you another video on my channel this weekend explaining all the ways in which you can increase your chances. Thanks for watching and for your question
I found a galarian zapdos a few months back, failed to catch it. Last week I found a moltres also failed to catch it, does this trick still work? If so then I really missed out 😭 Also you sounded pretty nonchalant about finding 2 zapdos in a day 😂
Haha I didn't realise at the time how little of them I was going to see 🙈. This was relatively soon after their release in Pokémon GO that I made this video. People have had mixed experiences doing this 'trick' but nothing can guarantee a catch except a Master Ball but there has been a lot learnt about what increases your chances and what's the highest percentage catch rate you could achieve if you manage to get everything perfect. Perhaps I should do another video informing people of all those things. What do you think? 🤔
I've noticed those birds tend to appear during windy weather. My chances to see them during windy weather is higher than during other weather conditions. I've seen approx 5-6 birds (don't get windy weather that often), but sadly, they all ran.
The chances of them spawning is very low, I was very lucky to get two on the same incense in this video. Make sure you keep walking while you are using your Incense and walking in straight lines helps the amount of spawns you get so find a nice straight route to use your daily incense.
supposedly the trick involves a 3-second cool-down between each wasted ball: time so client registers lost ball. 2024 news. also “waste 10-20 ultra balls”. i did not try this but scroll down/ seems couldnt be better-timed advice. 😂
Yh unfortunately they have a seriously low catch rate... Like 1 or 2%. But you can only get them by using your Daily Incense so try to use that everyday and hopefully you see another and then you can try to catch it again or even use a Master Ball for a Guaranteed Catch. 👀🙏. Thanks for watching.
@@sethbieber5127 sorry to hear that. I hope you manage to catch one soon. I did have another Moltres run on me today but found this trick helps but doesn't guarantee it unfortunately..... It's always going to be hard to catch Legendaries with no Premier Pokeballs.
I waste pokeballs by throwing them to the side because legendaries on raids have an increased catch chance at Pokeball no.10 / 11. So that's why the number of Pokeballs shown goes down quickly. Thanks for watching
Hopefully you will get one soon. Even after doing this it's catch rate is still only 2% but still better than the 0.3% standard rate from the first Pokeball 🙏 hope you get one soon
I haven't seen a Galar bird for a while but if you do be sure to try it and let me know.... By no means does it guarantee the catch just hopefully improves your odds
@@Mario-zf7xl oh dear, unfortunately the catch rate at its highest is still only 0.30% - 2% chance which mean even if its a low cp you still only have a 1 in 333 to 1 in 50 chance of catching it. The odds are unbelievably difficult
@@Danzobiggins hey, just chiming in to say there are modifiers to catch rates in pogo! it's been calculated that, for the lowest CP galarian bird, with all the best possible modifiers there's around a 30% chance to catch it. For the higher CPs though, the chances decrease much and there's like, and under 10% chance for a bird with mid-range CP.
@@sandorrclegane2307 yh I've seen that since aswell, it's always good when more data comes out about trying to catch these rare Galarian Birds. Anything that helps us or might help us is worth trying! Thanks for your awesome comment 👍🏻
It's definitely not guaranteed it's just an odds increase cause the galar birds are legendary so the catch rate percentage increases after each ball to max of 10 balls that's when you have the most increased chance. But sadly it's always going to be hard catching legendaries with no Premier Pokeballs
about legendary birds from daily inc, it is absolutely random to spawn? Like about just luck? Or its needed to have something, turn on or anything else? :D just to know, bcs to this day I never spawned them yet :/. Anyway cool video ;)
Yh it's completely random unfortunately, you can have weeks where you don't see one from the daily incense and then you might have two days in a row when you see one each day..... Completely random
