@@jasonrenshaw9010 yeah I’ve tried elastic bands but the two sections still rub together! These clips form a complete gap 👍 especially when they are in the boot of the car getting chucked about they make a difference! Tight line buddy and thanks for watchig!
@@DanielOwen-q1z make sure you clean the blank before retracting! RC tackle also have a special clip that clips onto the retractable section to stop it rubbing during transport! Make sure you check it out! Don’t forget to use the code!
John Roberts did similar using a kind of glow in the dark plastic for 11ft and 12ft rods ,approx 30 years ago ..They had to be clipped together carefully or damage ensured was an expensive mistake for my mate snapping the tip off of a Bob Morris ,Armalite ...😢
