There are good free premade Sinden gun builds out there, there are also people selling Sinden light gun ready hard drives. Sindens are jkust way better light guns than the Retro Shooters and if you want to go a step above Sindens Gun4IR are the cream of the crop but at a much higher price point.

@@mynameisprivate158 can you direct me to some of them? I found one that like 130 something GB, and I have a batocera build, but I haven’t seen many more. The Sindens look and feel awesome. But once I plug in those 50 million wires I’m playing on the retro shooter. I can’t even get my sindens to track on screen. I did see a video on here where I guy did the setup process from the beginning.

I had held off on buying the Sindens for other competition since users in the Sinden Discord were constantly complaining about setup issues and abandoning their guns RetroShooter seems to have similar build quality and more powerful recoil (Better? Depending on how you feel about it lol), a similar setup to Gun4IR with 4 sensors, and a lower price, with pedals to boot. If there’s something about Sindens I’m missing, would definitely like to know, as I’ve already ordered a RetroShooter set lol

Externally just because I have the external drive from Kris coolmod so it connects via usb but I could open it and install it internally

Star Wars arcade it was a Sega arcade cabinet back in 1998. It's easily my top 5 fav arcade games ever.

Sega Model 3 Star Wars Trilogy Arcade. It is not a light gun game originally. It's fully playable on the supermodel model 3 emulator

I haven't tried to see but they may as retro shooters are at their core essentially gun4ir guns.

Yes! The clips are totally optional

You need the software for retro shooters installed too. I haven't done this myself from scratch. I've used game drives that had it preinstalled already.

Hey there I didn't do anything different for that one. Just worked right away. You may need to calibrate it which I believe you can do with a keyboard. I didn't have to do it here but I have a video setting up sega model 3 in the past on batocera. If you just search retro gaming guy sega model 3 that video should pop up.

I'd say it's plug & play & with the very expensive cost of kris coolmods HDD or SSD I would like to think this is equipped with the Retro Shooter software installed so u can then calibrate this to the same screen as u calibrated with the pandoras box the guns came with...u should wait 4 a definite answer off these experts 1st tho!!!

I haave seen videos of Kris coolmod's drives , look at reviews and videos before making your decision on who's hard drive to purchase hint, there are much more professionally done and closer to plug and play premade than the coolmod drives out there!

Using a centralized hub versus a separate power supply for each gun and trying to stuff all the usb connections into the pc itself. Id call it an efficient way of doing that.

@@RetroGamingGuy You should do an actual general PC set-up of how you did it. BTW, still trips me out RS went lazy with their standalone. Literally a same cost T618 would have made this WAY better.

Yeah they're pretty perfect. Waaaaay better on PCs than their crappy game boxes. Some are stretched but yeah most should be 4:3 aspect ratio. Personal preference there. You can do whatever you want to do with that. Doesn't impact performance of the game.

Its a few mili-sec's this is pretty much 99.9%

Not specifically for this one no. I just use Kris coolmods setup for this one and it works pretty much plug and play

I haven't tried everything yet but I've played about 12-15 so far. Terminator salvation was a little laggy the first time then next time it was running very smooth. Thats the only issue I've had with teknoparrot and it was short lived but I'll be diving into more

I would love to have a update on it to see if kris’s TP games have the amd fixes and patches. I dont have the patreon linked to my mini pc but out of the non patreon games only around 6 play correct as where my main game rig plays them all correct with a gtx1660ti

The retro shooters? You wouldn't use them together

he is using the hard drive from krisskool mod (the 2 terabyte lightgun setup), in this drive there are different system from mame to ps3 light gun games.

Off screen reload does not work well on that game. I found it to be very touchy but I'm also very close to a very large screen. TVs over 55 inches can be touchy with off screen reloads

You have to use software to get it working. I used the Kris coolmod light gun build which has everything included to get it working

Works on batocera V39 or V 3.9...can't remember if it's 3.9 or just 39...it will work straight away 'plug & play' but the buttons on the retro shooter are limited to wat u can use...This is why u need the software really on top of that plug & play to utilise the buttons as u'd please...They register as different buttons but when a game is playing the buttons assigned don't like it on some games & u have 2 assign a different button....For example I set up time crisis on batocera with the blue retro shooter gun...However when u go in the game & let it load up u press the tab button or select + A on ya xbox pad or select + X on ya PS pad 2 get u in2 the setting...U then press on set up this system or it says something to this effect "meaning just 4 this game u are settung up as every other game may need 2 be set up differently so best 2 select this option" & u press A or X depending on ya pad of choice to the player 1 button & once selected it will go blank & then u pull trigger on retro shooter...then u wanna go to reload & press A or X again wait till it blanks out again & then press in on the analogue stick on the retro shooter...all other buttons won't work properly to use as the foot pedal unless u select this. Unless u download the software but nobody talks about this...I need 2 do this myself also!!

You have to download and set-up your own games & emulator, or grab an existing, pre-made collection.The beauty of the included console is all the work is done for you. You just have to plug it in.

@@PetarSebastianLogaric Retro Gaming Guy is being waaaaay too hard on the included console also. It's the Best Pandora Box to date with a lot going for it. It's not just a "lightgun box" either, it's a full-fledged console with a boatload of Classic Arcade & console titles. The emulation is Good, and most USB gamepads work great with it too. I wouldn't recommend buying the bundle with the controllers though. Those are cheap junk. You're better off buying the Base bundle that just has the lightguns. Then grabbing a Good quality USB gamepad yourself (Ex: Logitech F310).

@@Gametester110-qf8vs Thanks again. I would buy the bundle with the console, the guns and the pedals and also the adapter to be able to use the guns and pedals on PC. I have enough (good quality) controllers waiting to get some action. I am still a little worried about the performance of the console though.

@@PetarSebastianLogaric Retro Gaming Guy is clearly used to playing on Higher-End set-ups, so it's understandable that the Pandora Box console wouldn't be up to his expectations. It's still a Good box though, not great but, Good. I've played through the Terminator arcade shooter like 3-4 times without issue since i got mine. Although the price you pay for having a pre-loaded console with all the work done for you, is there is little to no customization or upgrading possible. What you see is what you get. Pretty sure it won't let you add more lightgun titles either. However, you can always message RetroShooter and ask about buying the Guns/Pedals/sensors/Base hub separately. That's what i did when i wanted to buy one of their Arcade sticks without paying for the "platinum" bundle and they were very understanding. Then once you have the guns, you can do like Retro Gaming Guy and, download a pre-made set-up with all the games for your Pc. Admittedly this is the best experience but, it's not plug & play and will take some work on your part to set up and figure out. As much as i appreciate the Mini Pandora console, i'll probably go the Pc route as well.

Can it be used with the t2 cabinet from arcade1up or used with the t2 game? Both possible. Little bit of work to put in a cabinet because of the sensors you need on your monitor

If I wanted this in my t2 cab and bought retro shooter kit to get sensors, guns, and pedals then would I still need t2 integration kit that is sold for retro shooter t2 mod? Or could I just use mini pc with guns sensors and pedals? I’m not real smart on this stuff so I appreciate it. Got racer mod box for my ridge racer and was kinda disappointed with the majority of titles being ps1 and Dreamcast so kinda worry retro shooter kit games would leave me underwhelmed as well.

@@HeavyInstinct It was uploaded 3 hours prior to my watching it. This is just a problem with RU-vid that I've seen even with month- and year-old vids. Access to some of their servers is so unbelievably spotty that it's like trying to get blood from a kidney stone that hasn't been passed yet.

You don't need one it's just that this gun works better with pc gaming than on the console that comes with it

no the hub is just a hub.the games come with the system you can buy from the retroshoooter website. however what retro gaming guy is using is a batocera build you plug into a computer which is seperate

Nope! $282 for two light guns, the extension hub, four IR sensors and two floor pedals. No other light guns on the market come with floor pedals included.

You can go make some and see how much they end up costing you

Yeah it's a big investment but it's the cheapest option out there for light guns unless you're going to make your own which I think you'd probably end up burning money attempting and then just saying f it and buying the retro shooters haha. I'm speaking from past experience there but I actually paid more for a sinden gun than what retro shooters breaks down to.
