I always have mad respect for people who can play Ryu and Ken in smash really well because in Street Fighter you at least have specific buttons for hard med and soft punch/kick I can never do these combos and tap the button a certain length to get the right hit strength in the middle of a match. 0:31 those Nairs to force the Ike into a tech situation and then doing it again was very impressive, especially with the combo into a spike. Good stuff 👍
Cool use of platforms, I rate that...you're pretty similar to another guy ik with playstyle, anyways good job on the montage it's cool to find other Ryu mains with their own unique playstyles
When you up tilt > dair on ledge, are you using the c stick for both moves? Sick montage by the way. I’m a Ryu main and your Ryu is godlike. Very inspirational
Man...and they say Ken is better than Ryu. I think Ken is good but Ryu is far better! His combos are so effective and he has a large amount of damage amd great knockback attacks! Still his L-Up tilt got extremely nerfed, let's not forget his Focus Attack and Shoryuken which is his best kill option and got nerfed too. But still he got amazing buffs this last update, I hope you upload another video with these buffs soon!
He was my main back in Smash 4. So I already had some knowledge about the character. ^^ But the auto-facing was a bit weird in the beginning, so I had to adapt to it. And the fact, that you can cancel most of his attacks into his specials, was also necessary to learn to do well with him. Once you figure these two things out, he's actually a solid character. :)
