This is an awesome resource for this game! Couldn't have asked for a better tutorial. Knew nothing about pinball before this video but the local machine caught my attention. I was getting about 200mil tops. After watching and lots of practice, I'm up to 1.7bil which is great so far! Trying to beat the local grand champ score of 3.2 bil. Anyways, thanks for putting the time in to make this

This is excellent. Pinball tutorials have been dieing for quality camera angles, edited insert shots of the shots being made (rather than someone calling out a shot and missing it for 5 minutes), expert play and importantly high quality explanations from Craig. I'd love for you guys to keep up making occasional tutorials. I think they'll probably be some of the best on RU-vid.

I'm a big Star Wars fan, I would love to own this Pinball machine and I love Pinball machines that play video scenes from the movies as it makes it more exciting when playing.

Thanks for the great video. I don't own the game but on location my best is around 9 Billion. You showed me a couple things I need to work on. Also(and you probably already know this) with competition install the shot X is limited to 20X (10x doubled). Such a fantastic game that is a true players game. Probably why so many people just don't get it. Same is true for Led Zep. PS. One more thing I recently learned. When shooting the Mystery award you can move the shot X to that shot(even while the animation still plays) to multiply the "Big Points" award.

I normally dont prefer long form video tutorials but this one was absolutely essential, a very complicated game and you helped me understand it so much better. Thank you!

Great video both of you! As you know, I love Star Wars, probably my favorite game and I have had one for about 2 and half years and I didn't know a lot of that :0) Good to see it getting some love, but I agree with Craig, I also hated it the first time I played it. It is a slow burner.

I don't know much about it in the context of this game, but a parsec is a unit of distance in Star Wars, not time as the name seems to suggest.

Just started watching and want to just mention an inaccuracy; he says Han has "by far the most completed," when starting; this is false there are 12 modes, the split is thus (To do/Completed) - Han (6/6), Luke (8/4), R2D2 (6/6), Leia (8/4). At the 5 min mark he shows all 4 characters setups. R2 and Han are equal in numbered of completed modes. An interesting note when analyzing this data I noticed Tatooine 3 is a rare mode, Luke is the only character who can play it, he is also the only one who can play Endor 2. All other modes can be played by more than 1 character. This is certainly interesting and im motivated now to play Luke just to see those modes, also If I want to see as much content as possible if I owned this game I would have to choose Luke. Hopefully Ill add this to my collection and play every mode which will be a challenge in and of itself over multiple games of character swaps to do it. Fascinating code. Yes the "shooting a shot 3 times" to start a mode was what Lyman brought to the scene back with Attack from Mars, Medieval Madness and Monster Bash (which doubles it to 6). Dwight who coded this used that flow philosophy to start a mode with his capture philosophy to start a mode style that he's used since Star Trek Next Gen. Brilliant. I think Dwight should of made us shoot the specific world shots to access their modes though, so we couldnt just get to mode select from Endor ramp to start Hoth or Tatooine or any such combination.

Is this the home version machine?

Without knowing what to do or how to approach playing the game I can understand why some people are underwhelmed by this title. As this tutorial shows, take the time to learn how to play it and it looks excellent. It's not intuitive or laid out for you but discovering the nuances of a machine is half the fun. As for theme integration - looks pretty good to me, can't see what people complain about.

How different table pro & ultimate?

I hate Star Wars with a passion because w an never get going when I get the ball into play without it going down the middle of the outer lanes.

Great video! I was considering buying a Pro or a Premium of this, as both are in the market where I live. After this excellent explanation of rules etc. it's a pass for me. I Love my Iron Maiden and Godzilla Pros. This SW is just way to hard rulebook and stupid layout so that it will automatically drain. Steve Ritchie is the most over rated designer - "King of Flow" my foot. His brother Mark beats him with every game he has designed. Superb video and explanations by the way. I think I have watched the tutorial on Godzilla 5-6 times. Thank you for the videos. Please keep them coming.
