The Hootenanny is one of the bi-annual off-road events that take place at Cross Bar Ranch Off-Road park located in Davis Oklahoma. The Hootenanny takes place in the fall (October) and the Hoedown takes place in the spring (April).
SXSUSA hosts and organizes each of these events and does an incredible job at making sure there is something fun for any type of off-road enthusiast to enjoy. This year's Hootenanny event schedule was as follows:
Thursday: Off-road park tour, scavenger hunt, live campfire music
Friday: Guided group ride, tug of war, SXS sand drag races with a live DJ over the strip, SXS costume contest, live music performances
Saturday: CA Tech Bounty Hill competition, live concert at Rock Face, Laser show and Halloween costume contest also at Rock Face.
This is our favorite event to go to and we always have a great time. Regardless of what you drive (Can-Am, Polaris, Kawasaki, Honda, X3, RZR Pro R, Turbo R, Turbo XP, Pro XP, KRX, Talon, Jeep, Toyota, Truck, Buggy, or ya granny's walker), this is the premiere off-road event to be at.
