Hard to easily lift karts and buggies. The steering gets real interesting and you start having all kinds of issues. I've been trying to figure out an easy way to lift mine for a few months now.

My favorite video so far! Reminds me of my first years dirt biking on my 87 Suzuki DR 100! My buddy with his Honda ATC 110 and I would get so far into the woods looking for a less treacherous route back home just to realize we had no choice but to go back through the shit show that brought us there in the first place! Nothing like knowing where and when your facing a rocky river crossing, loose sand, a foot of mud, a puddle over your fenders or a hill so steep you just about endoed down and now you know your gonna wheelie up!

Bring Spare Belts ! You travel all that way, you`ll most likely need one especially if you have fun. What`s more important, tearing the crap out of your toys you built to do just that, or baby them. I know this was two years ago, but it still applies today to anywhere to go.Awesome video, takes me back to my time in the sand. Thank You for sharing your video, and bringing us along. ATB

That Baja needs a tire upgrade, I put a Duro Thrasher 20x7-8 on the front and a Duro Red Eagle 19x8-8 on the rear of my daughters ct200u's and my ct200-ex and they ride more comfortably and handle better but most importantly they are far more off road capable. We were going through the mountains in Michigan's U.P. in red clay after weeks of rain with less slippage than that thing has in sand. Love your projects, thanks for taking us along.

needs a honda 300ex. Was one of the last ones that still had chain drive. It does give you manual and bonus reverse.

Have you guys considered a Chatterbox-like comms system so you can talk to each other? I wonder if you could wire it into your cameras’ mics? It would make for some really good commentary. I was out with a friend once and my master link snapped, luckily I always carry a rope on me so he was able to pull me home. Always carry ropes or ties with you in case of emergencies

put taller front wheel and tires on both carts. that will keep you, more or less, out of the mud. put the murrey engine in the YERDOG. and vee-twin on the murrey. I would put some kind of fenders on the carts. way better shocks on the YERDOG. buy the way we have lot sandy places here in Kansas. be safe! David.

Had to weld several things on my identical yerf dog. Replaced shocks with heavier ones, but that 30 series gave me so much trouble once she got older. I beat it to death! Soft metal.

Looks like you had a blast! I couldn't help but think..in that scene when Ike is saying 'bring back help' as you ride away, I was thinking about little Timmy telling Lassie to go get help...LOL Really surprised you didn't bring at least one extra belt, I'd bring a couple at least, that sand would be really hard on them. Go to a motorcycle shop and get a chain lube that dries and won't attract or hold dirt, every motorcycle shop that sells dirt bikes should have several different ones to choose from. Extra belts and spark plugs, air filter, a tire repair kit, anything that might be a consumable in sandy soil and mud are a good idea.

Ok you guys are really stepping up your game now! You definitely need some image stabilization for these types of videos though. Maybe mount the camera to the kart and bike rather than helmets? We have a yerfdog like that and the carb get junk in the jet and that is what causes the bogging and dying and cuts the power way down. Pull he float bowl and shoot compressed air through the jet. It will run like you changed engines. We have to do that ever so often. I think the jets in te-junk-sey carbs just gum up after normal use.
