As much as I love the Deoderant, I think it’s too much for NU. Hazard sets are great, stallbreaker sets are great (night shade + noise/taunt and variants), trick room sets are cool with teleport… but I think the cosmic power cheese is too easy to support. It’s a lot like slowbro where you need two checks. You need something to make it Tera poison (toxic users here mostly), and then a second mon to beat it post Tera. But the best mon to beat it post Tera is probably your own DeoD… it may not beat everything with every set but it has lots of tools and it feels really easy to support. Cress is much more linear that I think it is easier to prep for and also less effective. A- rating is fair there.
Im a big fan of pads lucario right now, I haven't encountered much stun spore on vileplume and its so nice not having to worry about helmet or any if the contact abilities. Additionally I also like swapping in lucario on muk knock off and becoming an immediate threat eith justified
I think Staraptor being UR is kinda odd. The Mon goes nuts rn with the lack of Rhyperior/Magnezone/Slowbro and feasts on all of the slow breakers and special walls like Gallade and Alolan Muk. Also shoutout to Shengineer for the Staraptor live.
