The coffee skits are getting more elaborate every time

Two ideas for midweek videos: 1. Mini battle reports. No videos, no fancy graphics, just a couple of players with some photos going over how a battle went, what stood out, maybe narrating the story of it. 2. Fanfiction/ lore reading or discussing (your own stuff). Like the reviews of armies, but more of their backstory and exploits. Just photos or basic art to go with it (I'm sure that Jazza would enjoy doing a video on the subject of making a series of illustrations to accompany a story, or a "Gandalf paints Middle Earth in the style of Bob Ross" on the theme). And (speaking as one) what worldbuilder doesn't like the idea of getting to talk about what they've created?

This video is perfectly timed, with Jenn dicussing how to use the colour cubes and balancing tones on a palette like notes combining to make a chord, with Louise of Rogue Hobbies releasing a super saturated RGBCMY paint set and demonstrating how to mix any colour from those 6 paints.

I really love that everyone who likes Warhammer is super fired up about the space rats. It's very charming.

I was also super chuffed to see Sarah's cube pop up on Jon's channel.

I’ve been after the Colour Cube for a while now. This might just be the push I needed to get my own set.

I really like these video. I think you should keep them really varied and cover lots of aspects of the hoddy. I like that you covered different topics in the same video. Keep them going and i think they will become a staple in hobbyists Playlists.

I enjoy these new formats for Tuesdays. So much information without being distracted by cuts in videos during a painting run.

Murray makes a charming old Lady. I never thought about it, but I guess that the color theory I had in school as part of the mandatory arts classes is not actually something everyone experiences. Those cubes certainly are a great tool for finding inspiration even if one has a good grounding in color theory.

I love hearing about your hobby, and what you as real people are excited about. Sometimes I feel like the RU-vid monster doesn’t let your personal passions come out to play. So it’s nice to see.

I love the coffee section every week.

Its color theory and basic design principles creeping its way into the hobby. Color mathematics, additive & subtractive colors. Cool colors = cold, Red colors = Warm. I think the more people who learn about this the more advances in the hobby we can collectively make. Besides NMM & OSL, I can't wait to see what new techniques or color discoveries that have yet to be made. Love seeing these videos going overboard in WHY colors do what they do and why we respond a certain way. Like the reason nearly all fast food restaurants use Red as a primary color, (red = blood, fresh). We respond negatively to blue food as a evolutionary response to blue food usually being rotten, so its rarely used as their marketing colors. Goobertowns color combo on his blood knights was also a great example, to create that amazing orange color, he started with pink.

A marine with like an oil slick sort of effect on the armor would be pretty cool. :O Also DARK MECHANICUS yes!!!! The Age of Sigmar and Sister's boxes look awesome. Those are the ones I'd definitely love to get my hands on.

My favorite coffee intro so far.

I am collecting Legions Imperialis, collecting both Astartes and Solar Auxilia (this one little bit more), so I am excited for the new releases. Finally the Leman Russ tanks will be "easier-buyable", if thoguht they are variants than the standard ones, and the super-heavy tanks!!! And maybe the first "Light Tanks" in the game in the form of Sabre (I guess it is a Light Tank Detachment... will see). So I am waiting for it excited (and my waller and bank account are crying out xDDDD)

I bought both Color Cubes for my quilt shop and, honestly, it's FAR easier to use online color palette tools. The problem is that I usually have at least one color in mind and I just need ideas for accent or secondary colors. Finding that in the cube is hard. I guess they would work if you want random palettes to spark ideas and you don't want to go online? YMMV

I love the idea of the colour cube, but there are a bunch of online solutions to that problem that are free. Of course, there’s a lot to say for having something tangible to compare.

I did wonder if it where Sarah's cube Ninjon used, i had kinda hoped he would mention her so i was so confused when he didn't 😅 I will get me a color cube, but ill wait for next month, the shipping is really driving the price up for me, and i will most likely have to pay import tax too.. Living within EU AND in a country that have 25% taxes on everything is not cheap lol 😂 😭

One thing that I still don't get about the Mechanicum (Dark or otherwise) in 30K is why you can't take Skitarii. I know it'll be because GW has a problem with being able to use kits in more than one game, but there are loads of Skitarii in the Heresy books, so why not in the game!

I know the American market is much larger than ours but I hate that it’s an Australian designed product with American spelling and sold in USD :( Thanks for a fun video :)

Its kinda cool to have but aside from my Armies that premdominately have paint schemes I hardly paint random things to even get a lot of use out of a tool like this. Maybe in the future Ill be more open to just painting for fun random minis

Love your retrospective on Jodies run E-Rod. My personal dislike for her era was the writing or should I say, the showrunning. Chibnal was not the right fit, far more focused on "stirring things up" than crafting good stories or interesting characters. The point where I got sick of the writing was when Graham confided in the Doctor about his worries of his cancer returning due to being in the Tardis and her complete dismissal of him and his concerns with now empathy...a trait the Doctor is well known for having, she just dismissed him outright...
