I love how versatile Mad Eyes is. His chase is bad but in exchange he has the ability to nick survivor's health, deactivate cipher machines, cut off routes, block rocket chairs, give survivors more objectives, etc. Very fun to play~
I'm a bit late but this is a great video! I've always wanted to try mad eyes. Finally had the courage to play him in qm today and all 6 games were losses (survivors emoting& mocking me too), which led me here haha :''D Thank you and I appreciate your guide! ^^
My different strategy : Early game I use my console to find decoder (mech / prissioner ) and then chase them using blink, and chair with the same camping style ofc
@@jooliuscaesar5679 yeah, but you can't stop cipher rush with that, you can stop the cipher rush once you chair the survivor and then open your portable console
something I do love about mad eyes is that he in a way forces survivors to use their self heal if they get downed by fences, making endgame much easier

a really good guide, some love for this hunter although i think there are better ways to camp as him, in high tiers you can't just build up a wall everytime a survivor goes nearby because the survivors will know to save early and will just try to bait out your energy and get a free rescue eventually while also wasting your time, how most mad eyes do it is to wall of the chair once when the survivor comes close, quickly get off the console and try to hit the survivor, the survivor won't have time to rescue as the wall will last longer than your attack recovery. it's a very aggressive way and can be hard to learn but it surely is a good movement to get the hang of. also a reallllly important thing about him is to pick the right chairs. know which chairs are good for mad eyes and abuse them
Yes ofc. I hate it when mercs walk alongside me when I am brining the surv to the chair like bruh give me a break and then as I get on my console they just elbow right up to me and rescue like bruh -_- You are very right though the wall early and hit trick is really useful. And also I agree that chair spots are really important. Red church wedding is OP, Sacred has that chair next to shack, those are really good. when i get survivors that come instantly to the chair without giving me time to get on my console i just hit them instantly, or i do this trick where i go into my console and immediately get out of it again and swing, sometimes i can get terrorshocks like that, and if its just a normal hit i still force the early rescue so a win win

yo idk if u still play recently but if u do is blink the meta for madeyes now? i would like to discuss more about hunters in the game and stuff but im not sure if you still play at all 😅
plz advice on what to do if 2 cphers remaining and 2 survivors to rescue the chaired survivor while 1 survivor can decode remaining 2 ciphers with accelerated decoding
@@morksan9973 even in dead by daylight, if the game is structured in such a way camping is effective, you should do it. Although it isn't in DBD. In Identity v, camping is completely compensated, if you had any idea of how much survivors gain and how much they can counter camping you wouldn't get angry at it
Even if you get an early down, a 10 secs down succeeded by getting killed everytime you're rescued, hunter is still getting a tie at best or a win if dungeon doesn't ruin the game, if you can't stuff a rescue (killing the rescuer before he rescues), get a 1% rescue or a 51% rescue, you'll be spending the whole match infront of a chair. If you don't believe me: rescue when the line is almost crossing and then when the rocket chair is almost flying, it's as if the whole rocket chair progress had passed through. 60 seconds from chair and also 20 from tide each time. That's 100 seconds the hunter can't do anything other than waiting for a zombie to die or standing Infront of a chair. 100 seconds are the first 3 ciphers and 1/2 from one at accelerated decoding. So by the time you get someone killed, they'll have their cipher primed, you'll chase someone else and the other two escape. But there's still an opportunity to lose, if they manage to kite to dungeon, which they can with a lot of ways, like being able to tank 2 hits regardless of detention like Merc, crossing the whole with shovel, getting owls, using hooks. Damn they can even rescue the second person you chair with tide and open the gate and then escape at 3 people. (Gate takes 20 secs to open, tide lasts 20 secs, if they can tank one hit or the gate is like 5 secs done, it's possible)
Ive been practicing my mad eyes skill lately but i dont have the money to buy mad eyes (reason why i wanna use mad eyes because it will increase my strategy skill)
I used to take teleport with me but now I use blink when game start I block cipher and chase survivers and keep blocking cipher its give me to much time Edit- in high tier it's hard to hit survivers with walls in early game they know what they doing
