My favourite childhood toy was my Cricket Doll. Do you remember the Cricket Dolls? She had a tape recorder in her back and two tapes to play. When the tapes played her mouth moved like she was talking - that was until my older brother decided to throw her down the stairs. She survived but the tape recorder didn't, so I had to play the tapes on my nornal tape recorder. I used to pretend she was my little sister.
Seeing you with this newly found energy makes me happy. I've been watching your videos for what, eight, nine years now? And it would have been such a shame to give it all up. I hope your channel sky-rockets this year!
Charlotte it’s so good that you are still generating content here on RU-vid been with you for eight years it’s hard to believe it’s that long already I’m on the other side of the pond always enjoyed your stuff especially art with Angel keep on keeping on❤
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that you've been enjoying my content for such a long time, and it means a lot to know that it's been appreciated across the pond. It's great to have such a supportive community here on RU-vid, and I'm grateful for all of my viewers, like you, who have stuck around for so many years.
I’ve been listening to your videos since 2014. I rarely comment but you’ve helped me fall asleep oh so very many times so thank you thank you thank you. Forever grateful for anything you put out, your videos have such a gentle and authentic energy that I always greatly appreciate.
Oh my goodness I had 2 huge tubs of lego and 2 of the green boards that were meant to look like grass. I spent countless hours playing with them. I have a wonderful memory of building lego in the living room next to the patio doors while it rained outside. It was a cold October weekend, my mam was in the kitchen cooking pies while the Duran Duran LP played. What I wouldn't do to go back and have 1 day as a kid doing that again 😊
Thanks for the interesting overview over your childhood memorabilias and dearest items. I wish I had still such a collection. But I had to give up most of it when I moved out to the city I work in and all had to fit into a VW Golf. 😔
Hi Charlotte. I really enjoyed your rumage through the memorary box. I particularly liked the clinking coins, that was very tingly. Yes, you have a few items there for Miriam to have a look at. Would be nice to see her doing mintaure clothes. My mum got me a bigger size dolly troll for my birthday once - she had a soft body, arms and legs and had a lovely purple dress. I got more later, about 4 or 5 in all. I know what you mean about the innocent carefree years just playing with barbies, they were happy times.
Thank you for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed my rummage through my memory box! The clinking coins were definitely a favourite of mine as well, and I'm glad they gave you some tingles too. I'm excited to get Miriam to look at some of these items too. Thanks for sharing your memories and for your support
Lovely video, Charlotte, and you are looking so well. I look forward to Miriam having a go at the cloak with the hood. I remember trolls too, but probably from the previous time they were in fashion, in the 60s! The doll's dress looks like a flamenco dancer's. Very Spanish, anyway.
The coins with the holes in them are made for countries where people wear clothes that typically don't have pockets in them. The idea is that you can thread them on to a piece of string or leather, and carry them around your neck.
I never knew that the holes in coins were for a practical purpose like that. It's fascinating to learn the history and cultural significance behind everyday items. Thanks for sharing!
Omg I would love to see the Conservation Society polish some of those coins up with a bit of polish and q-tips or a toothbrush!! Little details like that are charming.
Tu español es bastante bueno. Loved this totally relaxing video. My favorite childhood toys, were dolls, not Barbie type but baby looking dolls, my favorite brand was Italian Sebino dolls👍
Miriam's skills will be pushed to the max with the troll hair!!! My friend had a Sega and I remember staying at their house and playing on it until 4am while she slept, I only had a second hand Commodore 64
@@TheASMRAngel What game kept you up until 4am? My favorites were Sonic and Mortal Kombat, I believe Mortal Kombat was the reason videos games got a ratings system, that game took play fighting with my friends to a whole new level.
Transformers were my jam! Have to admit I'm a bit jealous of the anime culture kids have access to today, but was still fun "back in my day" with Robotech, thank the gods for that 🙏 Always a treat to see a new video notification, especially when a certain Sharing Skillz service steps in to sponsor! ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ Take my energy in 2023!༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
Fun fact: the Trolls originate from Denmark and are named Dam-trolde/Gjøl trolde. Thomas Dam created the little guy in the 1950s and they made their way to the US in the 60s😁👏🏼 Thank you for a nostalgic video! I’ll sleep well tonight ☺️
