Locations include South West of England and West Coast of Scotland
Does anyone actually read these? haha drop a comment if you do
The shots were taken from numerous dives and I take a variety of fish as I believe it’s the most sustainable way. If I only targeted one or two species like most we would have a significant impact on the stock so diversity is key of diet is key. It also encourages you to cook and try different methods of prepping fish which is always great for the taste buds.
All fish were of legal size and were speared for consumption, I abide by catch size limits, daily takes and no fish zones. Over the past 4 years now I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish so I only eat the fish catch.
Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing.
Let me know what you think of the video in the comments section. Anyway I hope you guys enjoyed the video and don’t be afraid to like, share and subscribe for more Spearfishing!

Dude I’ve lived in the south west uk all my life and have always wanted to get into spear fishing but I’ve never been able to find the spots with lots of fish and decent actual fishing waters, could you say where some of the beaches are where your fishing please. If you're actually worried about fish stocks you could just film these guys and go home to a veggy/vegan meal. I read the description that these videos were taken over several dives (which means days or weeks?), but don't you just go down to enjoy the ecology, or are you just a manly alpha Chad the cab think of nothing better to do than kill kill kill?
@WetMammal
@WetMammal 2 года назад
Hey, Thats not the solution either. You know as a rule of life people tend to protect those things that have utility more than those who don’t. Filmed from April to September. Absolutely I do and I would be my life savings on knowing the ecology and understanding the aquatic life far greater than yourself. Just because im taking the life of these creatures for food doesnt mean there isnt an appreciation of their life. You think all I do is kill kill kill? You obviously haven’t watched the channel much I don’t just shot any fish that crosses my path and somedays I wont take anything. Enjoy your day.

@@WetMammal tell your rule of life to the mammoths. It just pretty silly to say hunting fish is bad, when you could easily not hunt fish yourself. Its good that you can go diving and be happy coming home with nothing. If only more people who hunt for sport and subsidence had your outlook. You're right, I haven't really seen very many of your videos. Thought I'd ask first instead of spending hours watching your content, to then wish I hadn't.
@WetMammal
@WetMammal 2 года назад
@@iseriver3982 well thats a silly comment. When mammoths went extinct it was because of the ending of the ice age and less habitat. The humans around at that time also couldnt monitor or communicate population levels effectively thus no management on a large scale. I do not hunt for sport and spearfishing in my mind is not a sport. Its a method of gathering food and a hobby. Im not competitive with my spearfishing either. I purely do it to feed myself and those close to me.
@iseriver3982
@iseriver3982 2 года назад
@Wet Mammal the people who wiped out the mammoths were just feeding themselves. It wasn't the interglacial that killed the mammoths. They had lived through many glacial and interglacial cycles. Funny how they only go extinct when homo sapiens appear on their continents. Same with tropical species, all over the world. Simply just people feeding themselves, and that's when there wasn't 7 billion of them. You should keep that in mind, instead of denying it happened. You ever heard of rewilding?
@WetMammal
@WetMammal 2 года назад
@@iseriver3982 you are soo ignorant to this it hurts. The leading theory for the loss of the mammoth is Climate Change. Humans definitely helped bring down numbers but have been let off the hook for wiping them out. Im part of many rewilding projects in Australia. How many hours of volunteering have you put into rewilding and cleaning up other peoples litter to protect habitat?
