Okay apologies for the terrible quality of this video...idk what settings my camera was on, but it was not it...next time filming in a room with windows and lighting lol. Today was the start of our big snow week in Portland so I thought was a fitting way to spend December 26th: by filming my 8th what I got for Christmas video! So incredibly blown away by all these gifts that I don't need (the love is more than enough) but most defianitly made me smile. Sending lots of love and a hug to everyone who needs it. Relax, soak up all the memories of the season, reflect, and rejoice in a new year around the corner full of many new possibilities.

This year has been so positive for me honestly, in January I moved to a whole new country and until now I'm still getting used to it but this place is slowly starting to feel like home. In March, I started a RU-vid channel for my singing, and I just feel more confident than ever... I had a great holiday in the summer, and I just feel really lucky and privileged that touchwood my family are all happy and healthy this year. Come first week of January, I have mock exams so we didn't go home for Christmas, but I feel more prepared than ever... thanks to your motivation as well. Love you Kiara, happy new year

I'm really grateful for my fiancé this year. He was by my side through my hard days and stressful nights, no matter my mood or mental state in those moments. In the end, I ended up finishing my master's degree and landing a job I am so excited to start. That end of life decisions book is a great idea! I took a class last semester that focused on the psychology of death, loss, and dying. I would highly recommend anyone going in a field that may pertain to it or even out of curiosity to do it! It Will help me as a social worker.

You did really well for Christmas. I love that you got such practical gifts and I know you will use them all. I am grateful for having the health enough to go back to Uni and that I had the courage to step away from my PhD and go for an MPhil - my health wouldn't have survived the stress and pressure of the PhD. I'm especially grateful for my family this year 💕 I took my law exams and was so stressed. While I'm still waiting for the results, I Couldn't have done it without them. In Germany we wish everyone 'Einen Guten Rutsch' which basically means to have a good slide in into the new year 🤗

I have a security blanket water bottle! It's a Nalgene and I can't go anywhere without her. Something I'm grateful for this year is my health! And being home in Oregon for the snow! And my husband and family! :)

I’m grateful for surviving this year with life in general. Had a lot of downs , including not enjoying work to stop complaining about work because it got me all worked up. Mental health wise, things have gotten better, even though my mood hasn’t been great this holiday…. I’m also grateful that my therapist will stick with me through this coming January. She referred me to a type of therapy that might work better for me.

I’m a nightshift peds nurse and I’m always using the timer on my Apple Watch so that none of my med pumps wake my patients up when they’re done! Good luck on your nursing journey, you never know where you’ll end up :)

This was one of the hardest years of my life to date. There were lots of divorces, lots of my relatives are at the end of their line. That being said it was also my most successful academic year and I am PROUD to say through it all, I landed my hotshot corporate job at a Big 4 for right after my bachelor's. The worst of times can also be the best. Happy new year everyone. Praying for wellness and success in 2022.

This year has had a lot of bumps in the road. I discovered with my health 1. I have severe iron deficiency anemia and 2. That it is caused by celiac disease 😂 definitely grateful for the easy access to certified gluten free/gluten free foods in today’s time. I’ve learned from many that years ago it was a different story and wasn’t as easy to find safe foods!

I also have a bit of a water bottle obsession? I have a 32ounce one that is basically a hydro flask and then since I drink like an insane amount of water usually, my mom got me a 64 ounce water bottle that I will usually go through one and a half of those a a day lol. One of the saddest days of my life was when I dropped it and the lid cracked 😭😭. And the ‘my mom probably got me these because she got tired of hearing me complain about it’ was literally probably how most of my Christmas gifts came from lol. I hope you had a Merry Christmas!!!!

I'm grateful for my parents unconditional love and support through my stressful season. I'm currently looking for jobs and apartments in Eugene to be closer to school and qualify for instate tuition in a year, I'm very stressed, have literally 4 cents in my bank account and have no prospects for apartments at least in Eugene but plenty for jobs. It's just hard not being there in person to get any of these things. And even though we've unfortunately had to skip gift giving this year considering everyone's brokenness we still get to spend time together, eat delicious homemade potato soup, get a little high, and enjoy some dnd.

Love my Hydro flask use it all the time. My daughter loves hers and it is year old and I need to get hera new one. It is dented from dropping it and paint is chipped away. She is wants green one instead of the yellow she has.

I love my Apple Watch makes like so easier to keep your hands free! I would recommend getting a screen protector for it because you don’t realize how much you bang it up!

I’m a nurse. I wear compression socks all the time (summers in the South where it gets to 100F). I’ve been wearing Sockwell compression socks for 6 years. They don’t sweat or stink. I haven’t tried other brands. Do your feet justice and wear your compression socks!!! Good and quality shoes too.

My friends love to ask if you could be any utensil what would you be? I always answered ladle because I’m 23 and still don’t have a ladle. My friend Kevin has since been on a mission to find me the perfect ladle, which has been a three month process with a final recent victory!

I have a water bottle that am I obsessed with and I tried to get a new water bottle and I loved it and it held more water, but it wasn’t the same as my favorite one. I then bought a sticker that says “emotional support water bottle.”
