As someone who watched The Upside Down show as a kid, seeing these two performing on the same stage as Metallica, Korn and Rage Again The Machine is an absolute fever dream Lmao This was an awesome performance btw. Just kinda felt out of place in the middle of a metal concert.
Apparently the people loved them on the main stage, then the producers decided to televise it thinking it would be just as good on the west stage for a second time.... but apparently not lmao
@@imogenpinelli850 yeah they did two shows, one after James Brown who opened the festival (and they killed), then did one on the west stage (which is the one you see, obviously didn’t go so well)
i saw them live in early 2022 in melbourne. they're actually pretty good, but a music festival with no props or anything on stage is not somewhere they'll perform well.
I never knew these guys were there. Hey props to them for just rolling with it. I agree they shouldve never been booked as it was a music festival. But to boo them off the stage is not cool. It was only a 5 minute show.
yeah I do enjoy the Umbilical Brothers, ever since I was a kid I loved The Upside Down Show, but I wasn't a fan of this performance they did at Woodstock
@@tomcarl8021 If you have to ask then you don't understand Aussie humour just like I don't understand a lot of American humour. I can sit and watch Sat night live and just not get it. Each to their own.
@@mmoch I understand certain cultural references may not translate to another country. But what are these guys specifically doing that these American's don't get? These guys nobody knows jump out and start doing whatever the fuck they were doing. It's easily 2 million degrees out. There's something like half a million people in the audience. In fact, that same audience would later burn that place down in an insane riot. They were animals. They were there for Rage Against The Machine and Limp Bizkit. Morons.They were not the kind of people who understood or appreciate whatever nuances Australian comedy is. And you know what? Nobody in the rest of the world knows what Australian comedy is either.
@@tomcarl8021 You know, I really couldn't care what the rest of the word thinks. To be honest though, I don't even know why they were put on the bill and the person that hired them is the one that should have been booed and abused.
