Dude what the HELL he got it the first time and i was thinking “ill have to see if he gets it again so i can know its part of the level” then he got it the second time and i thought to myself “that confirms it” then BOOM! Normal mushroom 🍄 basically broke my brain
@@TheTomatoWatcher The odds of getting two in a row at any one spot in a run is 1/10,000. The odds of getting a second after your first is 1/100. Another way to think of this is that if 100 people playing SMM1 at any given moment get a lanky Mario, one of those people (on average) will get a second lanky Mario in a row. Rare enough for me to pause the video and look at the comments to see who else notices this, but not rare enough that we need to launch an investigation, lol.
The fact Ryu went back and showed us the dev exit at the end of the video is why he is a great RU-vidr. He was curious and wanted to see it and he knew we would be curious too and he gave us the answer.
Your equations are missing very important terms. six levels + no way to filter out hot garbage = 100 lives unlimited levels + the booing system = 30 lives It's not at all unusual for Ryu to make it 6 or more levels in a MM2 Super Expert run in spite of the massive drop in lives, and that's because the level quality is much higher. For example, when was the last time you saw a pick-a-path level in MM2? Even dev exits are remarkably rare.
@@BladeOfLight16 the quality is higher because of the booing system. this is why the new challenge should be for him to aim to succeed 10 levels or even the whole first page.
@@BladeOfLight16 That's true, they're overall a little better, but I still don't think endless should be 'try to get over 6' - the fact is 30 lives aren't enough to go very far without discerning skipping, and definitely aren't enough to get through legitimately challenging kaizo levels. If you even watch Ryu streaming, runs often end abruptly due to a single actually hard level, or he just has to skip them since he knows he won't have enough lives to get through. Hot garbage is simply not the only thing that depletes your lives in super expert.
But I always prefer SMM2 because you can actually 'Boo' levels now. Ugh, seeing the tr0lls spread their disgusting wings as they rained their sadistic pain onto your back garden in the first game was torture. Nintendo finally had a vague semblance of what 'balance' is, dare I whisper it. Now's payback time >=)
HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYBODY! Just FYI, the live stream lobby is open. Hope to see you in the stream today! We'll be live RIGHT HERE on RU-vid! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ND-6UCtVbeA.html
11:05 ryukarh reems like the guy that would ride a skateboard and do all sorts of amazing tricks in the air, but after hes done grabs his skateboard walks off and trips over a pebble.....
Has getting big for Peach been eliminated intentionally or more inadvertently? It was a tradition and now it seems to not happen anymore. Still enjoyed the run.
That's what the spring sound he made was for, and in other recent videos he just enlarges his face without saying anything. He won't say it, but it's obvious he's not doing it anymore because his channel has grown and he wants to keep it family friendly. Instead he just throws in subtle nods to the old days.
I didn't know I needed ryu trying to pronounce "kalja" in my life but I am glad I got to witness it for it was a thing of beauty. (PS: "Kalja" is Finnish for "beer".)
Any courses labeled unbeatable, troll level or the hardest level ever I usually look for dev exits since chances are they have one has happened quite a bit anyway.
Ryukahr got two weird mushrooms in a row. I was started to think it was actually supposed to be there, but when it came out as a regular one I was astounded at the odds.
The fact that people out there still play this game makes me very happy. This was when I was at my Mario Maker prime, and I’m sure that’s true for a lot of other people as well.
Chance of lanky mario is 1/100 and twice in a row from the first time you play the level is 1 in 10,000 chance. You have a better chance of finding a shiny pokemon in a single encounter than that happening.
4:38 Level name is something like "Let's play a simple level once in a while This is a course for beginners" Level creator is called Ibubu edit: changed slight mistranslation: "Let's do" -> "Let's play"
The goomba level was different since the goombas have a 50/50 chance of going left or right out of a pipe...I think Marios position makes a difference too...I could be wrong about that one though
