I did not like it at all. Not one bit. And that “even better than original” with Jennifer Hudson picture is so incorrect, Jennifer Hudson didn’t sing it originally-Jennifer Holliday did and if you put her vocal against his you’d see how his voice doesn’t match the true meaning and feeling of the song. FYI every song doesn’t need a whistle note. He’s a gimmick type performer. Not too mention he’s so pitchy.

He also made changes while holding to the original. English is not his first language, and he does have some issues with speaking "Consonants, but his Vowels are first class. The Reactor broke it down, even explaining his use of the word "ME" and why he used it that way; this guy knows what he's doing. You mention that Ms. Hudson's voice doesn't match Gabriel's; as I stated above, Gabriel puts his mark on his covers, and further, when I want to listen to music, I don't always go to a concert; I'll buy a CD or an LP. I don't like the group or an orchestra in my living room. In other words, I don't like The Jennifers in my living room; just a reasonable facsimile there. Most of us enjoy the courage of a performer to take risks and add their spin to an original. Lastly, I've listened to over fifty Reactors, including Voice Coaches and Teachers, and NO ONE HAS CALLED HIS VOICE "PITCHY, no one. These Voice Coaches and others are professionals who make their living in the Voice Industry. It s ok to critique, but you tried to EXCORIATE (look it up) this young man for singing, and in my opinion, that is wrong.
