Thanks for reacting. Gabriel does not speak English, however in his latest covers, he's improved a bit, as well as his singing. So, it would be worth checking out: Stand up, O holly night, Easy on me and etc. He is a self-taught singer , has never studied, learned mainly from Whitney and Mariah Carey.

All the many voice coaches who listen to Gabriel comment on his amazing technical ability, but it is how emotive and passionate he is - combined with the control - that puts him in a separate class. He is just phenomenal!

Gabriel doesn’t speak English but is able to learn songs in English and that’s how he is currently learning English. Whistle notes are his specialty.

Gabriel is amazing..just a note: he improved his english ( this is cover is a little bit old) ..but i think that for a person who doesn't have english as his first language he sings very good(as u said, the language doesn't compromise the final result) if we compare to english singers singing or speaking portuguese...anyway... you should check his cover for 'I wanna know what love is'.

The English pronunciation is actually endearing and honest. It's the proof it's him. It's also VERY VERY difficult for a someone who speaks English as a second, third or ONLY THIS SONG to belt out the inflections while knowing the words (in a foreign language)

Thanks thanks thanks. Listen to what he sings. He does incredible things with EVERYTHING he sings. Better and better. He DOSN'T KNOW english. He learned how to sing by himself and the english he sings too. He started his lessons not long ago. He is pure diamant and this guy should be in the top of the greatest. I cry in every single video he records because he sings with his heart. He is a gospel singer. Thanks a lot.

Yes, Beth! Gabriel is amazing, and the most interesting thing is that he never had proper singing lessons, he sings on tv shows in Brazil since he was 7 and also on the church. For me it's one of the beat singers we have actually

Beth, Gabriel Henrique does not speak English, but he is learning through singing & he has recently began studying English lately. This video is quite old and his English has greatly improved. In addition to Whitney he sings Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson (Jackson 5 Era), Adele, Bruno Mars, and more…. You should checkout some songs in his native tongue Brasilian Portuguese: Extraordinario (worthy), Fidelidade (faithful) are two excellent songs that will definitely take you to Church. Gabriel’s musical integrity and discernment are truly next level, and the man has never had any formal training. He is a Gospel singer and a product of the Brasilian Church.
