My great uncle lost his eye in ww2 driving an officer in a Jeep. They took a mortar round and flipped... the officer didnt make it and Bill lost his eye. When I was about 5, I met him. Not knowing the story, i asked him why he always kept one eye closed. He said, "I sleep in this eye half the day and switch the second half. That way i can stay up all the time." I tried to do that for a long time before asking my dad how uncle Bill did that. He just laughed and then proceeded to tell me the real story. I met the man once, at 5 years old, and I will remember him forever. Legend.

If I may be so bold as to offer you a soldier from lets say 250 years ago who was pretty unkillable and she was a female soldier. Marie-Therese Figueur. She served in the French Revolutionary Army and The Grand Armee for 22 years. She was known as an extremely tough woman and despite being wounded several times and having several horses shot out from under her she went on to live a long life. Lets not forget being take prisoner of war a few times.An incredible lady who is often overlooked when it comes to great warriors.

This particular thumbnail wouldn't be particularly complicated to make without AI though, it's VERY basic. And T2 already uses art in his videos, I don't think it would harm it for the thumbnails to also be done by a person. Heck, it's so simple, he could do it himself with a few license free stock photos and a copy of GIMP2 (I say this in part because GIMP2 costs nothing). Heck, I'm sure there's editing software on phones that could pull this off.

As a child, I had hoped for an interesting life. At 41 I feel like I’ve done well in that regard. From stealing a truck and driving to Mexico, to living in the jungle mountains of Haiti, studying art in Paris, working a classified job with nuclear weapons, getting a pilot license and now living in a war zone, I’ve seen quite a lot. I’ve lived in five countries and eight of the US states, been married twice, and traveled the world. You only get one life, have a blast.

Unpopular opinion, the AI thumbnails dont bother me. I can't speak for everyone else, but I've been a big fan of your videos for a long time and have notifications turned on. I dont need a fancy thumbnail to get me to watch your videos. To be honest, I usually dont even look at them. If using AI thumbnails saves you time or money, then I support it. Just keep making amazing videos.
Well said and as long as it's not costing someone else their direct livelihood then if it gives time to make the substance of the video even .5% better then I'd take that over a fancy thumbnail anyday

@@TheStrykerProject You'd be surprised. Glass eyes have been made for a couple hundred years. Prosthetics in general have been made for thousands of years. I'm sure it fit pretty well, might not have been perfectly comfortable, but probably looked pretty good. But, an eye patch is WAY cooler!

I basically, by accident, created a character with pretty much the same injuries he obtained back in the days. I patched him up with magic for the present time, but still thought of nerfing him because i thought it might be a little too far fetched that he survived at all to be there for the story events. You should look into the life of general Edgar s. w. nye. He started his military career as an American in the Cuban war and finished off as a general in the imperial Russian army. He won the most impressive medal of honor of the old Russian regime and finally passed away in a veterans home in Alameda California.

I learned about this guy about thirty years ago when I was in the military while reading Kipling. Someone mentioned his name, I found his book, and have been fascinated ever since.
