Welcome our Channel USA.Unknown Willowbrook Mall is a one-level shopping center with a partial second floor located in Wayne, New Jersey. It is near the intersection of New Jersey Route 23, U.S. Route 46, and Interstate 80 in the New York metropolitan area. The mall opened in 1969 and was expanded or renovated in 1970, 1988, 2006, and 2015. It has over 140 retail establishments and a leasable area of 1,518,006 square feet (141,027.4 m^2) and is the fifth-largest shopping mall in New Jersey. The mall's anchor stores are Macy's, Dave & Buster's, and Bloomingdale's with two vacant anchors last occupied by Lord & Taylor and Sears.

I miss the old Willowbrook Mall. But they did a lot of work on this mall after renovating it. I remember the old fountain where people used to throw coins in. Now it's like an open lounge to sit

I know things change, but ....wow. I worked at Willowbrook for 12 years (mid 70s - late 80s) in different places, none of which are there any more. Actually, the only place I recognize is The Body Shop and Macy's, which took over Bamberger's around the time I left. There were a lot of clothing stores then, but not half as many as now. There were a lot of smaller, unique, fun stores in the mix. It's a lot louder than I remember, too for some reason. Glad it's still thriving, or looks to be.

I worked at Willowbrook in the early 70s at Wallach's, which was a high-end men's store. Loved working there back on the day.

I used to go to this mall in the late 80s and the 90s. It was a fun mall to go to as a teenager. I haven't been in Willowbrook Mall for probably around 15 years sad to see the fountain is gone. People used to make a wish and throw coins hoping that their wish would come true. Now it looks like a regular mall.

i moved away from nj 21 years ago...spent alot of time in the late 80s/early 90s in this place...its unrecognizable to me now...yea when all the good stores started dissapearing in the late 90s to be replaced with worthless clothing,jewelry stores i stoped going there

The only shops left are fashion, lifestyle and food. Why still visit (apart from the food obviously)? Where is the music-store, the gadgets, the computers, the electronic organ shop, the toyshops, the bookshops? I used to love this mall!

Used to go to this mall all the time with my mom. It's changed alot, though

They all have, and not exactly for the better. Sadly indoor shopping malls are a dying breed, and will have a very difficult time making a comeback it seems too.

@@racheledwards2352 But I do hope to go visit this mall again soon. I really want to check out the Dave & Busters they have, which is at least great also.
