I live in AZ. I cannot wait to see the final build when it is all grown out. Your videos and aqua scapes got me through a very rough time in my life. I remember 2 1 /2 years ago or so you spoke about the first desert scape. I was so inspired. Your vidoes help people with more than how to build a good looking tank.

Hello from Phoenix, Arizona!! I can't tell you how excited I was to see Arizona in your thumbnail! I actually screamed at my husband from across the house that Green Aqua gave a shout out to Arizona! So freakin cool!! 😎 You made my day!

How ironic. As a native Arizonan, I notice that the majority of European visitors become completely enamored with our state. Even my wife, who is a big fan of the 80's rock band the 'Scorpions', told me they have a song called _"Arizona"._ Most people that are born and raised in Arizona tend to grow tired of the desert landscape, myself included. This is why all of my aquascapes are full of various shades of lush, green vegetation. It's my way of escaping the predominately brown environment that constantly surrounds me. That is not to say that the Arizona desert is ugly. In fact, it is quite the opposite. _We the People_ of Arizona *love* the smell of our desert after it rains. Heck, we even celebrate in the rain because it is so highly coveted. Unfortunately, with the rapidly dwindling water resources out West. I fear that the aquarium hobby will be a thing of the past in harsh, arid, desert environments such as Phoenix, Arizona. Enjoy it while it lasts ladies and gentlemen of AZ because it will soon become unsustainable. Stay classy my friends.

I'm from Phoenix, Arizona. Your videos are the reason my Aquascaping skills are growing each year. I'm happy you love Arizona. My father is from Illinois but when he came to visit Arizona, he felling in love and moved here. With what I've learned from this video, I might make a Arizona Aquascape.

I don't ever see myself making a high end scape like this (never say never) but I love watching masters at work. You are a professional, Balasz, and I so appreciate your vision and execution. This is going to look amazing--It already looks so good. Seeing something like a desert turned into an aquascape is so absurd that it's genius. Thanks to the entire Green Aqua team. Take care.

Wow, amazing scape! As a native Utahn, I’m quite proud to have Capitol Reef in my state. Just a note, those types of cactus aren’t seen as far north as Utah. Just figured I’d mention it. Keep up the amazing work and keep being an inspiration to people around the world!

The rock work is awesome. It looked like mountains until you put the cactus in. The cactus placed on the rocks make the hard scape seem smaller to me. Are you looking for mountains or hills? I’m sure it will be beautiful when you’re finished. I can’t wait to see the next part.

Niko rock is another one that's great for a desert type scaping. I am building one right now in a 20 gallon long tank. I've never seen anyone else use them though. So I'm giving it a shot. Something you should look into

hi Balaz have you think about using hooker moss to make the cactus instead of moss ball
@rgilroy1909
@rgilroy1909 Год назад
love the idea, but have issues with it. prospectively the cacti would be soooo much smaller in the distance compared to the scale of "the "cliffs" you've created. Hailing from the 4 corners area (New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado)

In the original rocks, horizontal layers caused by erosion are very characteristic. It's a pity your stones do not convey this, or they are unsuccessfully selected
