I cannot emphasize how much I enjoy watching "the new" you. So much more genuine and honest and I feel more connected to this version of a more vulnerable and real Michel. You were almost hiding before. It is like you shed the dead weight of a toxic and unloving relationship and you have truly bloomed. So happy for you! Cannot wait to continue "joining" you on your new life's path. Thank you for sharing with us and being open. I cannot imagine how difficult it has been for you at times, but I know that you have helped so many people who are/were going through heartbreak and change and in so inspired them to keep pushing on. You are so deserving of love and happiness and I hope your new lover brings you just that! I adore how he spoils you and think it is such a beautiful reminder to everyone that there are so many good people out there and not to be jaded by the bad ones or heartbreak. Im so happy to hear that you have grown and learned so many lessons from this "challenge". Divorce is nothing to be ashamed of. Choosing yourself is always admirable. Love you all the way from a tiny rock in the Caribbean sun - Sint Maarten!

I've just come out of a 21-year controlling and manipulative relationship. I'm 6 months in of being "free" but I feel like I still have to come to the realisation that there is no one there to tell me what to do and what not to do...Being free is simultaneously over joyous and scary..💖.

Many of these ideas can apply if you're in a healthy relationship, too! Often we put our interests, hobbies and self-care on hold just because we get into a routine or don't want to seem "silly" as you say, or don't want to expend the energy, even though our partner is supportive. A good kick in the butt to live life to the fullest no matter what!

So true- your partner can very easily determine how you view yourself and how you feel day to day and that can be a great thing or not so great.

I wish past Michel 9 months ago was able to see this video. To know that you would be okay...in fact, much better than okay. That you would grow as an individual, be capable of so much on your own, and to experience love in a new way that it is meant to be experienced. I only started watching you during your divorce but I want you to know that you are an absoloutley beautiful woman (inside and out), you are intelligent, you are appreciated, you are loved, and you are worth ALL of it. Keep being beautiful, keep growing, and accept the love you give to the world. ❤

If I had just one solid piece of advice, it would be to just take your time in your new relationship to really enjoy the Love and respect you’re feeling. Do not disregard red flags if they show up, even if it’s something you consider small or insignificant. Face it head on.

Love this. I have always said that when the universe throws all your dominoes up in the air, they often come back down in a much more pleasing pattern, from my experience. Michel, you are a perfect example of this. I love seeing how happy, healthy and beautiful you are and how far you've some from that sad, stressed young lady who started this VLOG. I cant wait to watch you keep on going from strength to strength. You are a true inspiration

I've noticed you are more authentic since your divorce and getting settled into your new life. In those videos before you revealed a divorce was coming, I always felt your "happiness" seemed fake and I noticed a lot more EMPHASIS of love towards your spouse than what he was showing, as if you were trying to convince viewers that everything was so wonderful. Now I see your true happiness, your authentic love...love for yourself, your future, and the possibility of a new relationship. You glow!! So happy for you, it's not an easy journey, but God is using your journey in an amazing way and it is obviously helping others!! ❤️

This resonated with me a lot, sadly the part of not feeling wanted or appreciated physically did make me feel like there was something wrong with me to the point I put a lot of effort into looking better but it barely got any recognition, so I just kept thinking I was not enough. After breaking up I even started to see old pictures of me and thinking wow I actually looked better than I thought at the time.

I was married at 18 and divorced at 19, and although I left my Church long ago, I didn't leave my faith behind with it. My two favorite mindsets didn't come from the Bible, but from country songs - "If you want to hear God laugh, tell him your plans," and "God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers." The only right timeline is the one that God hands you, whether you understand it or not, and we'll end up where we need to be. These lines have brought me so much peace over the years, especially when I was going through that divorce.

I just saw your divorce video from May 23, 2022. I think you married the wrong person without really knowing who he was. It is imperative to share family and life goals with your partner. I don't know how long you knew him before you married, but it certainly was not long enough. No judgment here as this happens a lot. I would advise you to go slow and find someone new who truly shares your life view and goals, family, children, and religion. Please take your time even if it takes a year, 5 years, or even 10. This is heartfelt advice after 30 years of marriage. I wish you only the best moving forward. You are young and intelligent so I am sure you will learn much as your life continues. Finding a loving non-violent partner who wants to share his life with you and not his friends is key.

I've never been through a break up, but can still relate to a lot of these. I didn't meet my boyfriend, who is my first relationship until I was 28, I'm turning 30 this year. By that time I had moved countries on my own 4 times, studied abroad, lived in shared houses and by myself, and was very independent. I did date but for a long time it would never go anywhere, and it wouldn't go further than one or two dates. Then I realised there were certain experiences I wanted to have before committing to one person. I had actually matched with my current boyfriend on different dating apps multiple times in the 2-3 years before our first date, but at the time I didn't want something serious and he didn't give me casual vibes, so I kind of hold it off. I did my thing casually dating different people, trying different things before I was ready to jump into something with my boyfriend. I actually learned so much from those 12-18 months where I was pretty actively casually seeing different people, not just about the person I would like to be with, but also what my boundaries are, what I want/like in the bedroom, communication, being more comfortable around men in general, and I'm so happy I did it that way. It's crazy to think that if I met my boyfriend after the first time we matched, he might have been the one and only guy I would ever been with. Although I don't know if our relationship would be as good as it is now, as I would have been a completely different person going into it. Wow that turned into a bit of a ramble haha, anyway, love your videos, can't wait for the next one :)

I am 58 years old have been through divorce and then the breakup of a long term relationship about two years ago. I was so afraid of being on my own but now I am so grateful for the time I’ve had for me! My life is so full with my daughters and my friends. I would like to be in a relationship again but haven’t met anyone. Even if that doesn’t happen for me it’s okay. I am happy for the first time in a while. I know now that I would never give up who I am or my interests just to be in a relationship again. ( Took me long enough, lol ). God Bless you, Michel . You are helping so many people with your videos.

This is the longest amount of time I have been single. I have issues with codependency from past trauma and relationships. I never thought I would be happy being single. I also never thought that I would ever feel like I really don't want to jump back into another relationship. It's been great being alone for me.

My wife left me and it has taken me months/years to Reround myself and who I am and who I desire to be with others. That being said you are a love example of a strong virtuous woman. I wish I would have the opportunity to meet you in person. Appreciate your vulnerability in these Vlogs

You are such an inspiration Michel. I wish that years and years ago when I had gotten a divorce at 20 that I could have grown in this same way you are. That was not my story and I was wounded for a very long time. I'm now 46, married 20 years on Wednesday and have 4 beautiful children. I'm thankful for where I am now and thankful I finally did heal and grow. It was because of my Savior of course. I cannot take any credit but I do wish I could have had some better direction and help way back then.💛

I agree with all these beautiful things. Im out from an abusive relationship since almost two years now, sometimes i have some low moments, but overall, i rediscovered myself, relearned to be happy and content with just me. This made my life so peaceful. TKS for all this Sharing again, beautiful Michel ❣️

My second husband asked me out for a year and a half before I finally went out with him. I dated other guys casually, but I just knew he was going to be a serious relationship so I resisted sooo long. Man I am so lucky he kept asking. From the first date we were together and have been for 23 yrs now. We have a 20 year old son, and will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in March 2023.

I'm a single 53 yo divorced man and had infidelity from my ex wife! And that was 23 years ago. My kids are grown and some have kids of there own!. I know how it hurts! Of course we had kids together and it made me a stronger man! My ex and I get along well... she's now two husband's past me and we still talk... very occasionally! But my point is in the long run you can move on and be the strong women you've become! I'm proud proud of how you have persevered! Stay strong and keep your head high! Love from Hempstead, Texas!... Texas Strong!

Everything “bad” that’s happened in my life has taught me: zero expectations = zero disappointments The “best friends” I had while going through something traumatic, I expected them to be there for me and they weren’t. That alone was hard to deal with but over the years I’ve told myself this - expected nothing and was blown away by people’s kindness. Something bad, when you have expectations of your friends not reaching out, ask yourself: 1. Were they really a good/best friend? 2. What would I do if a good/best friend was going through this? Common sense is no longer common. And unfortunately bad things that happen, you end up finding out who your true friends are. ❤️

100% on the solo travel. I'm married and have traveled solo many times. It's appalling when people make comments to my husband like "you LET her go alone?" or "it's not as fun to travel alone". While I love having a travel partner, I'm not gonna miss out something just because I can't find someone to go with.

My husband always says the reason our marriage works is because I'm with him because I want to be, not because I have to be. 💜

I’ve always tell my friends, you can’t see how deserving you are to a better partner until you let go. Of course it’s hard to see and imagine anything better because we can’t see the future but how can you if you don’t end a failed relationship
