It's a cycle of crime and these DAs and judges are part of that cycle. Should we call them criminals as well? They play a big part in these criminal acts.
Why are children less likely to die in a car accident? Vehicle Safety Regulations. Why do so many people lose their minds when we talk about changing the word Vehicle to Gun?
Nobody is asking for that. Why do you think a child is less likely to die in a car accident? Vehicle Safety Regulations. If you aren't against Vehicle Safety you shouldn't be against Gun Safety.
@@randal_gibbons Regulations are infringement, that is the issue. The Supreme Court ruled that all gun laws must have text or tradition from 1791-1812.
The announcement “deadliest shooting since the start of the year” just shouldn’t be a thing. We don’t have a phenomenon, a regular thing, called “mass shootings” here in Australia that we need to keep a daily record of just how many people die. It’s abhorrent.
Yeah.... wellllll....in Aussieland you will do ...and have done ...just wtf your supposed "representatives" tell you to do and you'll have no choice but to comply because - you can't defend yourself. On another note - leniency towards criminals really works doesn't it??🤣🤣🤣 Lack of parental discipline is another cause of malcontents acting out like lil spoiled snowflakes that they are. Lastly - if you believe this BS bias presentation - please stay in AU...we have enough snowflakes
Its sad kids have become Soft targets because US Govt refuses to protect them. Armed people in Schools is needed. When people are raised respecting others, this doesn't happen. When parents give kids an iPhone and let social media or other thugs raise their children this is what happens. Parents must be involved and know what their kids are doing. When I was a kid this wasn't necessary because I respected my parents and knew they would bust my bottom and make me behave.
Are you really that dense? The typical American gun-nut doesn’t give a damn about war time protection. Americans who own AR15s and multiple other guns aren’t “preparing for war”.
I am old and i have paid taxes for 50 years. I do not get the safety of walking down a street without fear. I wouldn't need a gun if my govt would protect me. I pay for law and order. The anti gun folks near me have pit bull dogs that occasionally roam free causing fear. This situation will get worse as time goes forward. It's hard to believe this is how the Kay Kay Kay got started.
There should have been federal legislation written centuries ago, that allowed adopted people to have their adoption nullified. There should have been legislation in the United States Constitution or in the Bill of Rights or in the Amendments, that allows adopted people to have their adoption nullified. To be emancipated. Regardless of their age. _____ Needed Federal Legislation. Adoption Nullification Act: Allowing adopted people to have their adoption nullified. To be emancipated. Regardless of their age. This would be an Amendment to the Emancipation Proclamation. ____ People are not property. Adoption should not be a form of slavery.
The United States government and judiciary system failed to inform adopted people, upon being adopted their legal problems would begin. Having an adoption nullified would be similar to divorce laws, stating abuse, r*pe and incest. Stating irreconcilable differences and conflict of interests.
I was adopted. The emotional, mental, physical and verbal abuse started on the first day. I am not disputing the legal system/judge's decision on having me removed from the first group of people. And don't want that custody or authority to be given back to my biological relatives or their relatives. Waiting to have my adoption nullified. To be emancipated. ____ My adopted parents biological son at the age of fifteen started r*ping me, when I was nine years old. ____ The people that adopted me/I was forced to live with have been delaying this trial for over twenty years. They don't want me to testify against them. They are angry that I contacted the law enforcement. They've been aiding, abetting and protecting a p*dophile. _____ Needed Federal Legislation. Adoption Nullification Act: Allowing adopted people to have their adoption nullified. To be emancipated. Regardless of their age. This would be an Amendment to the Emancipation Proclamation. _____ People are not property. Adoption should not be a form of slavery. I am in need of a lawyer to represent me. I am okay with going to the United States Supreme Court. This is as important as: Brown vs The Board of Education. Had there been federal legislation, I would have had my adoption nullified decades ago. And wouldn't have had to post this information. ____ Why doesn't my birth certificate have the word: Adopted? This should be mandatory for all adopted people. I want to take back my legal birth certificate.
I'm not the least bit concerned what a foreign basketball player thinks. Shall not be infringed The Second Amendment is not up for debate despite collateral damage
Tragic fact I learned recently.....average life expectancy in the USA has fallen over the last few years. Part of the cause was COVID which claimed so many, but the other factor is an increasing rate of gun-related deaths. The USA, with some of the most advanced healthcare in the world now has an average life expectancy less than Chile and many European nations. There are simply far too many guns in circulation- per capita, the USA has more than nearly all other countries. So, here we are, in a very bad place. There's little need to point at the groups responsible for preventing better gun control laws, but somehow we need to overpower those who will not take action. I just don't know how.
@@rogerbrownreacts8528 Incorrect. According to Pew Research, murders involving gun reached a high in '92 then declined through 2015, then climbed rapidly through 2023, reaching an all-time high. Use better sources of information to form better opinions.

As a UK citizen I too struggle to understand why US folks have such a reliance on guns. I track it to the US Constitution and the Second Amendment and the proliferation of guns over the years would now be so difficult to reverse. I find it sad we humans can't rise above our violent nature to really LIVE TOGETHER.
It’s a perversion of that amendment pushed by the gun companies and who knows exactly who else. At one time endorsed by both parties, now only by the GOP.
That's what the NRA tells everyone ... because the "Bad Guys" will always have guns. And making sure of that is among the NRA's top priorities. They frame American society as "Good Guys & Bad Guys" ... and they ... through their dues paying members in the manufacturing and distribution sector ... take in $millions by arming both sides. Quite a business model, eh? ~TD, Boston
It isn't the kids who are are playing sports that are the problem it is the kids who aren't good at sports, or even the arts, the kids who don't 'fit in' who are the problem who are viewed as different or odd or loaners the ones who feel like they are on the outside looking in that we need to help.
I think you're close...their envy of others morphs into the problems. We don't need to cater to lower percentages in order to make them feel better. We need to teach them to find their own niche and stop looking at others and being so envious because they can't compete
We must concentrate on total violence rather than assigning violence to one specific entity. If we want to concentrate on gun violence, we must look at the most dangerous places in America, which appear to be, Gun Free Zones. These gun free zones can be schools, grocery stores, supermarkets, shopping centers, college campuses, or any other place that has the gun free zone, decal, or sign on their property. We also must look at some cities who have what some consider to be draconian gun regulations. The city of Chicago comes to mind. We also must focus attention on some enclaves with in these cities that appear to have an abundance of violence to include Chicago Southside. Chicago is one of our most progressive democrat run cities. Perhaps we have met the enemy and he is us.
Australia is “gun free”. Where’s their gun violence? It’s not a “gun free” problem, sweetie; it’s a uniquely AMERICAN problem. There’s a reason the US has THREE HUNDRED TIMES more gun deaths per year than neighbouring Canada, even though the U.S. has only ten times the population. Wake up.

Why did you leave out the part about the people? 2nd doesnt say you have to be in a militia not to mention what a militia was in the 1700s. It was far from regulated and full of drunks and fighters.
The phrase "well-regulated" was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning.
You may as well spend 16 minutes arguing the existence of God. When we were both 6yo, my cousin found a gun at home and accidentally killed himself. Nevertheless, my family remains 18th century on guns.
There is much anger for many different reasons. But the fact that guns are so interwoven into the American psyche that it's just a way of life for most people in America is one reason. Also the fact that it's actually "unconstitutional", to do anything about guns because "it shall not be infringed upon" is the main reason. In my opinion as someone looking outside in.
The constitution guarantees that right in reference to "a well-regulated militia", which has since been formalized into the National Guard -- and furthermore, only guarantees that _congress_ cannot infringe that right. The idea that gun ownership cannot be infringed at all, at any level of legislature, is a very recent and historically extreme development.
@@ML-ki9tr Early 2A jurisprudence largely avoided cases ruling on it at all. The 1800s contained multiple decisions allowing for relatively free regulation of gun ownership at the state level, and decisions in the 1900s focused quite a bit on what weapons were allowed due to their relevance in a regulated militia; US v. Miller in 1939 ruled that a short-barreled shotgun isn't something a militia would use and is thus not protected by 2A, and served as the basis for bans on unusually powerful weapons until very recently. The sweeping opinion of gun ownership outside of militia use did not become case law until *_2008,_* and even Scalia's narrow 5-4 majority opinion on the decision that codified it explicitly states: "Like most rights, the right secured by the Second Amendment is not unlimited. [It is] not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose." Stop parroting NRA ads and read actual case law sometime. The law you take as gospel was decided almost entirely by the same five people, is probably younger than you are, and doesn't even go as far as you think it does. The Founders wrote the Second Amendment intending a responsibility so facially explicit it cannot reasonably be separated from its text, and yet your ilk have done so in the most grotesque way possible.
america is might makes right culture, gun culture… from the cradle to the grave we are inundated with gun violence, but you want to blame the parents? my earliest memories of movies is of native americans being ruthlessly mowed down by white cowboys and organizations or the endless ww2 movies of hard men, infantry fighting the gerries…guns are glorified in america
This was a good piece. I wish everyone in the country would see this. I was born in the states. Never been outside of it and the number of guns appalls me.
