For me the D&C was always the most difficult to read because it would feel like Joseph was talking to Joseph, except that the conversations were of him being berated or corrected on many occasions. It was also the easiest to reference since it was so straitforward in its statments. So I had a paradoxical sense of it that was hard to dismiss.
