This shoe is so underrated!!!! Did the green swoosh and lace swap out, super clean! Glad you did this review and gave it the credit it needed! I took an L and paid 40 🦌 over what they are going for now, but with the quality I’m not even mad about it!

A note on fit (especially for the wider-footed people out there): they’re technically true to size, but AJKOs from my experience are a tad tighter than Jordan 1s. I’m normally a 10.5 for Jordan 1s so I got the Storm Blue AJKO in 10.5 and my toes feel super cramped in them. I ended up getting the Union AJKOs in 11 and they fit much better. Not sure if anyone else feels this way, but this is my experience with the KOs: go half size up!

@WearTesters just cuz I'm an economist I figured I'd check up on the inflation-adjusted price of Air Jordan 1s; here's what I found: When you adjust for inflation, $65 in April of 1985 (CPI = 107) had the same purchasing power as $182.57 in today's money (CPI = 300.5). so, since Jordan 1s retail for $180, I'd say that they're essentially the exact same price (in real terms) as they were when they first released. I've been into sneakers since the Shaq Attaq 1 in 1992 when I was 10. I really preferred the Shaq line to the Jordans in those days due to the tech. Instapump and old school hexalite had me sold. If I recall correctly, the Shaq line had graphite/carbon fiber before the Jordans as well. When I was in high school in the mid-90s, I was super into the Penny line and Uptempos. I pretty much had them all. My first Jordans were the cherry 12s, and what a world of difference better than any air-max shoe. Been collecting Jordans and retros ever since. I gotta admit that this channel is almost solely responsible for re-igniting my love for sneakers as an adult. Much love and respect from San Antonio, TX!

I really like this version and it’s odd how AJKO is now a standalone model In its own right. It’s essentially more of a Nike Court Royale than a Jordan thing. Great review as ever gang.

Hit for retail on SNKRS on the leather pair. Very clean and easy to wear. Prefer these because canvas is a nightmare to maintain. Glad the resell is low, might cop myself another pair tbh. Dope vid as always!

I hit on snkrs on this pair and LOVE them; Im a materials guy, so I had zero interest in the canvas, and this pair def impresses; I did green swooshes as well and did my own ambush/lebron 20 thing with the Nike checks!

Didn't realise AJKO low was a thing, I'm not a fan of the highs but these are nice, I'm a fan of the Jordan 1 low anyway but it's gotta be the OG's.....Can't be having that Jump man on the tongue. It doesn't seem right to me yet I love it on 3's 4's etc

Solid review as always! I got these and lace swapped to Union Yellow laces and offset the green swooshes to show a bit of the Union Velcro print in the back. Really happy with this release for sure.

The only thing I hated about the union ajko (I have the canvas) was the jumpman and union logo came off super quick on the insoles like after the second time wearing them they both started peeling off then were just gone. I was sad. But I love the shoe I need the leather version asap

The leather quality on these is amazing! Of course I took an L on both initially but the resale price is super affordable. I was able to get both pairs for under $400. I had to have the canvas pair just for the Carolina Blue swooshes to put on the leather pair. That color along with the lace swap actually looks incredible together! So glad I was able to get both pairs!
