The Unique Rancourt Acoustic Violin Bass Model / Jonathan-Guillaume Boudreau PhD. 

For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, this is the second instrument in a special collection I've been working on for the past 4-5 years with a close friend.
This Acoustic Violin Bass, inspired by my Upright Bass design, is scaled down to an 1/8 ratio but still features a 34" full-scale bass string length and a fretless, ergonomic design. It’s a beautiful fusion of different genres, crafted with a salvaged Sitka Spruce top from my dear friend Maurice Roy for optimal expression and responsiveness, paired with High Grade European Maple and a one-piece Maple neck.
The Rancourt VibeSense Bridge Integrated Transducer System brings out its unique tonal character.
