I have been involved in UN Boards of Inquiry - admittedly related to the deaths of peacekeepers. If this inquiry/investigation is anything like them, those conducting the investigation will already have been told what their findings are. If the SG wants to keep her, they will have been told to find "nothing to see here" if he wants to get rid of her because it is politic and makes the UN look un-biased, they will find she has "not met the highest standards of the UN". This is exactly how the UN works.
