Owc 2019 was the first tournament of any king I had ever watched through live. God damn, I have never seen so many people get, for lack of a better term, shit on so hard by one team. I remember watching grand finals. I was more sick than at any other point in my life. Watching the US absolutely destroy everyone and everything that came near them made life enjoyable in those miserable days.
I mean, I watched owc 2019 and appart from USA's matches, it wasn't boring at all. It was Roumania's first time confirming themselves as a big team, beating Japan and Poland and taking Germany to tiebreaker, it saw huge seed upsets like Hong Kong beating Australia 6-3 and most of all, South Korea's absolutely incredible loser bracket run. Seriously, Korea lost in the second round of winners against Australia, and then went on to beat Japan, France, Taiwan, Brazil, Russia, Germany and UK. In 2019, watching USA's matches was boring, the rest of the tournament was actually quite cool. (What's even crazier is that Korea is doing it again this year ^^) Appart from me disagreeing with that point, I enjoyed the video :)
Let's see if the loss is enough to invigorate the USA. Would be cool to see a rematch between Canada and the USA in grandfinals. Kinda like South Korea last year.
I would also lime to point out the irony of the last song in the OWC 2019. Unhappy Refrain. The song about jow everything is going well for you, everything is falling right into your lap, but youre still unhappy. The exact opposite that was happening to the US. Nothing was going right, everything was shit, but they kept going.
@@texasdandy9083 as an American, I want the US to win, but I'd much rather have a spectacular Grand Finals match than a near guaranteed win, even if it means losing
